  1. Tony, You know me, if I can get in on it I will. If this happens, I will be there... If I can ever get my computer at the house to work, as it should I will start posting again.... ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies This message has been edited by trey cannon on 09-20-2001 at 03:36 PM
  2. Anytime anyone out there need / wants the specks and can't find them, please let me know and we can e-mail them to you. ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  3. Ray, If he swaps the channels on the amp and there is a problem with the amp and that channel did hurt the original driver, he could hurt the other driver. This is not where I would expect to see the problem, but never say never.... That was one of those "just in case" statements. ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  4. Sunnysal, If you try the amp thing you could hurt the driver. I would look at the back of the driver. If it is a "M" driver, I have seen the black plastic back air chamber get loose. If this is the case, the sound will happen at a certain volume and frequency. You can sometimes find this by "tapping" on the back of the driver. If it is not loose, then you may be: 1. Over driving the driver. A: dont turn the amp up that high... 2. You could have a cap that is braking down. Letting to much bass into the mid driver. It may hold up at low volume and not at high volume. A: you could send the amp into Klipsch for repair / testing. You will need to get a RA and pay $60. 3. A problem in the electronics. A: do as Ray suggested swap the channel. to see if the problem stays with the speaker or the amp. Let me know what you find out. You can call me or e-mail me. trey.cannon@klipsch.com 1-800-554-7724. ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies This message has been edited by trey cannon on 09-04-2001 at 09:12 PM
  5. Hey Guy, We have been having problems with the phone. I may not have gotten your mesg. I suggest you try a fuse from radio shack part #270-1022 this is a 1.5 amp slow blow. It should work fine If it blows, then you have a posiable bad amp. Good luck! ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  6. I do keep my ear to the ground... and when I hear of someone that is having a momentary lapse in reason and it gives me a chance to get another pr. of Cornwall.... It's good that you kept them. It would be like selling the kids.... ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  7. WHere are you and what do you want for them?
  8. There were 3-4 "running changes" in the epic line. What you have is one of the early woofers. You may be lucky and find that part number still in stock. The way to find out is call customer service (1-800-554-7724) and ask if they can still order that number. Your woofer has a little heavier cone than the new woofer. The port length was cut in halve and a network change was made. If you go to the new woofers, change networks and shorten the port. If you can get the older woofer, do that. It makes the repair easier. ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies

  16. Bev, You can count on us. Matt and I are in the office from 8-5. If you run out of things to do, give us a call. We will play you a song live (via Matt). Or I can tell you funny stories about BobG or Phil H. Give you history on stereo (with a PWK point of view, or as close as I can get to one) I worked with the local chapter of the Jaycees. We did a lot for the kids at the Hospital. Remember We are with you and GOD is smiling on you. YOur "box of stuff" will be on the way tomarrow. But I guess you will not get it until you get off the air. Don't you just hate the wait...... ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  17. Boa12 I just don't know if I can like someone that puts Cornwalls in the rear of a system that does not have Khorns in the front. I plan to be moving soon, you all have given me some more "house rules". stay away from houses that are close together. make sure all people close are 40 or less in years. ( or that they like it loud!) and a few others.... I know its to late, but you can place the speakers on bike tubes not fully aired up. like we used to do with turn tables... (showing my age...yea I still have LP's) ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  18. I am with Phil H time to push away from the table sooner! WJ couldn't you have doctored those pic's up just a bit? A few of us needed help. ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies

  23. E-mail me, I am putting this data in a spread sheet, it makes putting your address in a lot faster. Would a file attachment of the spread sheet be useful? ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  24. We need data! If you have a home theater we need to know a few things. 1) What is the height from the floor to the top of your TV screen. (where a center speaker would be placed. 2) What is the height from the floor to your ear in a normal seating position. 3) What is the distance from your ear to the TV screen. Please send this info to trey.cannon@klipsch.com I will post the results on the KBB. ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
  25. There has been a few dates (hear say) but nothing definite.... As soon as we know, the bb will know. ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
