  1. May you find the peace in the comfort that you are there with your beautiful mother in her final time in this physical realm. Peace be upon both of you.

  3. Dang Tim, not sure I would want to put that on you, especially sight out of mind. Of course have no boxes but even then, would lose sleep while in transit. Have concerns even with my other much lighter items for sale with shipping. However, thanks for considering and we shall see what unfolds, when I do pics. Shipping never has crossed my mind. If you get real hot though I would consider using your ship agent. Thinking a nice set will pop-up for you before long.
  4. Should have some pics posted by this Tuesday...

  10. My place here in the city is for the most part on a slab . The bathroom however is raised a bit and for the last few evening have been hearing a cat that sounds like could be in the process of bearing or raising a litter. So there is a crawl space. Just heard the cat again as a reminder. Spoke to the cat before while hearing it. Do not mind the very occasional noise, especially as I like cats and it is a might cooler. The peace of mind I have is that the hotwater heaters are located at and very near where she/me are located for the complex. I will run some hot water for her tonight. Some Ferrell cats they say are around locally but, we all have to survive...Peace. Almost forgot, a tree fell somewhere nearby while having my coffee early this morning. Went outside but did not see or hear anything more. Locals had quite some trees down during Hermine. City and county still working on it...
  11. Dang, don't go outside for anything, except some ice...never saw a forecast where it is -5 and feels like -18...must be a chill factor...
  12. For sure @Tarheel...remember it well, as that year was a medical one for me. In the local hospital for 20 days, dangling my thumb...(foot) There was something else was going to correct but, not going back now...Onward...we come too far to let a little blizzard stop us... Besides, I will soon have a little de-icer in my veins...
  13. Yes, I like some volume too there Steve_S... Maybe that loud recorded music saves some volume, lol. In any case sounds like a decent setup... Tonight is my night in...Iced Tea, and a couple of bottled Icehouse, stock alc. volume. Weather makes it seem apropos...
  14. Believe that it will be 3rd anniversary for CC&C...
  15. Nice and breezy here today after last night's cool rain. They think 28 tonight for a low and maybe another night of similar. Yews, you do not want any trouble especially around here with frozen pipes. I could tell you war stories about that there. Drinking a cuo o joe before I pop a top here...cheers...

  17. Right across the ole bow... Ceptorman, my problem was earwax but, sounds like they had a good look this time. Makes a body wonder about 2nd and third opinions.
  18. Hello, Up for sale is an RSA-500 with a matching RW-5802 inwall sub. Condition is good as both show little signs of wear although, the sub was mounted before. It was purchased by me a couple of years ago from a college student in Gainesville, Florida and was used at low levels as he was immediately adjacent to another apartment where he was living. It comes with user manuals for both units. I have used this sub system as a surround and a 2 channel reinforcement sub. Although it will not go crazy low, it however sounds fast and punchy to me, and is low enough for my purposes. Units have been living a semiretired lifestyle, as is it's present owner. Using just the one passive sub module, paperwork states it is receiving 300 watts amplification. Two would be 250 watts respectively. This package if wanted is shippable at 18 lbs. & 22 lbs. for sub module. Will come with iec light duty cord and manuals. I can take measurements if any interest. If you want this system, I can deliver to a shipping agent of your choice, as at the moment, I do not have the original boxes, and want a pro packing/shipping agent to take charge. Price I feel is at the bottom of course being offered at $300 for the units. Local pickup welcome... I refer you for pics to my local craigslist ad: http://tallahassee.craigslist.org/ele/5956236860.html Updated Link... Thanks!
  19. Like that underdog...years in the making since Tommy Nobis...
  20. Figured you may be too far. Generally the case with me down here. It is a feeler anyway. May change it to a For Sale in near future based upon local forum folk's interest...
  21. Thanks y'all... it hurt even considering it.
  22. Hello, Before I think about listing these local wanted to feel out any local who may be interested in these oiled oak Chorus. The condition I gauge as 7 aesthetics and 10 sonics. They were recently crossover refreshed by parts from @DeanG and installed on boards by a local technician. Paid too much to have the work done but, appears to be a good job. Clarity are the brand of caps mainly with what I take as Mills resistors. The grilles could be better in appearance and could fit better. Cloth is intact however. Speakers are otherwise in stock condition and cannot recall if label denote them as consecutive but, veneer tells me they are. Think they were nade in 89 but, will have to look for that info. Got these through my job in lieu of services rendered while working for a couple of years at an audio/home theatre concern i Tallahassee in 2001. Thinking there may be some pics here in the database but, can take more pics when at speaker location in a couple or so days from now. Here first and then the local list...depending on my cash flow. $500 is where I am at with a sale atm...Thanks, Billy ***Edit: Looking for Chorus pics but maybe on other computer. Will be able to post some in a couple of days... ****The copper emblems are missing also...:( Edit: Beginning price on my local CL will reflect non-member status...
