  1. I've got a solution for that... I will throw in a 684 for $500.00. If you need another I believe someone in the Dallas area may have one you could get.
  2. Klipsch Jubilee speakers, walnut fronts. These were bought for a crazy home theater project I wanted to do but never got around to. they are new out of box as they have nver even been hooked up. Prices are as follows: Jubilee pair with 402 horns and B&C D-75 drivers Electro-Voice DC-One crossover, add TAD TD-4002 drivers, new out of box, add Klipsch K-69 sub for B&C drivers, add $0 Pickup in Denver, CO.
  3. Yes, they have the adapters and bolt right up to the 402 and 510 horns.
  4. I have a pair of TAD TD-4002 drivers I bought new out of box. They have been sitting un-used since I got them, so are technically still new out of the box. $2500.00 plus actual shipping. TAD no longer makes them, so they are getting hard to find.
  5. Looks like a fun project. You can order the KPT-402-HF with the B&C or K-69 from American Cinema, the price should be about the same either way. The K-1132, as I recall rolls off above 12KHz to meet the THX spec. The KPT-942's passive crossover would work, you would just need to add some attenuation and possibly some CD EQ.
  6. The K-1132 is a good cinema driver, but does not go up high enough for the home. I suggest the B&C'S D-75 on the 402 or the K-69.
  7. I think most that have the KPT-904 will disagree with that statement. I for one own both and think the 904 out performs the LaScala by a significant margin. It is well worth the time to set the 904 up properly. Many hours were spend dialing mine in and the results are very pleasing.
  8. I don't think Altec made a 416-8B with a smaller frame. Can you post a picture please?
  9. I have a K-25 (or pair) if you are interested, same woofer, just vented out the pole piece.
  10. Did someone find a source for the TAD 4002? My understanding was they entered the realm of Unobtanium.
  11. Gil, I agree with this statement, the other more important factor for the 12" drivers over the 15" is it allows a smaller splay angle so the wave front is much more direct in the jubilee than the klispchorn.
  12. Not sure I understand this one. If the Faital goes low enough with the Eliptrac it goes low enough with the 402. I would not pass up a chance to get a good deal on a pair of 402s as they don't come up too often. The KPT-305-MB uses the 402 as low as 150.
  13. Photos sent, thanks for your interest.
  14. I have a pair of late 2000 mahogany belles for sale. The tops have some scratches overall good condition. These are available for pickup in Denver or possibly Wichita Kansas as I will be traveling there later in the week. It's possible they may even be able to find a ride to the Dallas area if we can activate the pony express. I am asking $2000.00. Email for more pictures.
  15. You could demo mine. I am in the Denver area. Just drop me a PM or email and we can set something up.
  16. Thanks for the tip Moray, I appreciate it. At this time things are too tight for something like that.
  17. Hi Guys, I am looking for an inexpensive tube amplifier, I don't have much money for this project. Please let me know what you have. I really appreciate it!
  18. Yes, you can buy the kpt-904-HF which is a 510 with a B&C driver and the bracket that mounts to the top of the cinema cabinets. The price is around $600.00. it's a great sounding setup. I believe you could also sub the k-69 for the B&C, but I don't know why you would want to do that.
