  1. I don't think I've ever heard of a LaScala signature edition. Tony
  2. I know someone who is toying with the idea of making K-Horns small enought to be an ornament on a Christmas tree. Tony
  3. Maybe we should plan another "get-together" in Hope. Last time I spoke to Miss Valerie, she really loved the idea of a meeting in Hope. So, we have the Klipsch factory & distribution center, the audio museum, PWK's museum and a possible reception at Miss Valerie's. Oh yeah, I think Miss Valerie might have a complete Jubilee. Does this sound like something? Tony
  4. Someone needs to come up with a Klipsch "05" calendar. You know, with ultra cool Klipsch related photos for the entire year. I work next to a print shop, so I could get them printed in bulk. That is, if "management" didn't mind. Tony
  5. I'm also looking for the HIP's... they are few and far between. Tony
  6. If you go into town, there's PWK's museum. Very, very cool! Tony
  7. I doubt you'll get into the factory on short notice. The audio museum is across the road... pretty cool stuff in there. Tony
  8. The only thing I can say, is that I have nothing to add. Tony
  9. Excellent, excellent work. I'm glad to see them brought back to life. Tony
  10. Don't forget to make sure that DVD rewinder works with DVD-R's. Tony
  11. I'm interested. Will you sell one or do you want to unload them as a pair? Tony
  12. I've always been told that speakers don't hiss, electronics do. I have heard Klipsch speakers hooked to high-dollar source electronics that were dead quite. Tony
  13. All of the industrial LaScalas that I've purchased had the AL network. Tony
  14. Dee, My digital jukebox was given to me by a friend who works at Sharper Image, which is where he got it. It has a 20 meg hard drive. That doesn't sound like much, but in MP3 format, that's quite a bit of music. The sound seems to be very close to CD quality. Tony
  15. How about a digital jukebox? I have a Hercules PD. It works pretty good. Tony
  16. The first pic looks like the front of a K-Horn low frequency section. (section laying on it's back) Tony
  17. I was at Disney/MGM in Orlando a couple of years back. We had settled in at the outdoor theater where they do the "nightly show" when I noticed there were an incredible number of loudspeakers. I counted 54 speakers just slightly smaller in size than the Klipsch LaScala. And that was just the ones I could see! This was in one theater in one park! I bet they use loudspeakers by the hundreds, if not thousands. Tony
  18. The name "Jubilee" is also biblically based. Tony
  19. None of the Industrial LaScalas were "corner" loaded to my knowledge. Mine are a textured black with aluminum trim. Some were made without any trim and some were made in the two piece configuration (separate top & botton). Can you describe the ones in question in more detail? Tony
  20. I copied it, put it in Paint Shop Pro and "brightened it up. It looks something like a neon cat. Tony
  21. ---------------- On 7/27/2004 3:26:20 AM edwinr wrote: That's what I used to like about Elvis, remember him? During the rare interviews he gave, he was always asked to make political comments. His response? "Sorry, I'm just an entertainer, I'd rather not". ---------------- I agree totally. Elvis never used his vast fan base to push his own agenda. Also, when asked if he thought other enterainers should keep their political views to themselves, he said "No". I wish more entertainers would follow this example. Tony
  22. I know of an example where PWK gave some friends a pair of Chorus'. He had Fortes in his home. If he wasn't involved and proud of these speakers, he wouldn't have had anything to do with them. Tony
  23. Trey, I have an Oiled Oak Academy in mint condition and a 4.1 digital camera... if that helps. Tony
  24. We all say things from time to time that we regret. I remember one time I actually posted that I liked the Klipsch CF series speakers. Man, I can't believe I did that! Stick around awhile. Tony
