Yes, it is a 2 channel amp, good down to 4 ohms (I think). I guess I could hook these up in series/parallel and put my test meter on them to see what kind of load it creates. Sound right? Thanks, Tony

OK... I went a little crazy buying the Industrial LaScalas. Here's my question: I want to run all 6 of these off of a PA "box amp" for parties, Karate Tournaments, etc. How can I do this (economically) and regulate the load, so I don't fry the amp? Thanks, Tony

A Klipsch subwoofer that can stand toe to toe with Heritage would be great. I would have to have one, or two, or three. And no letter/number designation, it must have a name to fit in the Heritage line. Tony

I'm told they don't even sell the aluminum trim anymore. If anyone finds another source, I'd be very interested. I have an industrial Heresy that needs new trim. Tony

The LaScalas are very easy to build, even with nothing but basic hand tools and maybe a table saw. The Klipschorn is totally different and totally complicated. I wouldn't attempt it without a shop, power tools and extended woodworking knowledge. Tony

I've replaced several of the diaphragms in the K-77/T-35 tweeters. It's really pretty easy. Just make sure you put everything back the way you took it apart. Tony

After reading about this "scam" on the internet, I believe it is an organized effort. There are too many similarites. This is also happening in other countries. Wow, loudspeakers must be big business. Tony

As a footnote to the story: Later in the day, my co-worker saw these same two guys in another location trying to scam someone else. He watched as they were rejected once again. I guess they're having a hard time unloading their "surplus" merchandise. Tony

As crazy as this scam was/is, I find it fascinating that the guys I met are fans of PWK's stuff. They said it was the best. They didn't mention any of the newer products. Tony

Well, it's happened again. While at work, a co-worker came to me and asked if I would come look at some home theater speakers a couple of guys were selling. On the way to the door I asked, "Are they in a white van?" He nearly fell over while answering "Yes, they are!" I told him to stay away from that deal. I was curious, so I went to check it out. It was the same old story. Their supplier had over shipped and they just wanted to get rid of these items. He said they're "Home Theater" brand, I'm sure you've heard of it. "They have ceramic woofers, high output mids and tweeters and custom crossovers." Wow... all in a brand I've never heard of! The packaging was very nice, I guess to make them look legitimate. I told them I was a "Klipsch" guy and didn't need any more "Home Theater" products. I was quite surprised when he mentioned several of PWK's Heritage line products and said, "Klipsch is the best, you don't need any of this junk." Thanks to this BB I was ready for this scam! Tony

I paid $300.00 for my Oiled Oak Academy. At the time, I was sure it was too much. I guess I was wrong. Tony

I'm not real crazy about the 511B's. I used them in a project with some JBL 4648 "bass cabinets" obtained from the JBL tent sale along with some Beyma CP-25 tweeters. I drive the 511's mainly with the Atlas PD-5 (using an adapter). I've tried several different drivers, but none of them "worked" for me. I still have this "setup", but it's not to my liking. I prefer the K401. Tony
