Good looking receiver. Im stoked about older stuff like that. I have Marantz 2238b that I play my Heresys through but, I don't think it would be enough to get the Cornwalls or La Scalas really singing. Great find!

I hate shipping companies....I hope you can get it fixed or replaced.

I agree. Spend the $100 bucks....Heresys are great but the low tones the Fortes will play make them one of my favorite speakers.

I wish my old man liked music the way I did....I would for sure buy him a nice 2 channel set up.

Bill, welcome to the forum. I agree with Montigue231. THe Fortes will sound better at lower to mid levels but if you can crank it, the Chorus will not let you down.
