  1. Install directional arrows to the restroom. I can't believe JB let this one slide past.
  2. I hate officially hate you guys- All we get is NASCAR. [:@] living here I have been NASCARED to death Enjoy the race
  3. OK- I will be the one man band and keep the thread going Still sitting in this hell hole (work)- waiting on a call from Fedex. Drinking a nice cold Deer Park WATER!!!!!!!!!! Gotta hit the beer store on the way home- maybe a nice Bohemia (mexican premium beer) or maybe some Isenbeck pilsner if they have any. hope all the recovering folks are doing OK. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I bought EWs for years. When my Mitsu 36" crapped out 1 month after the extended warranty- I quit buying them. OTOH- I bought a EW for the lease period of 2005 Chevy Tahoe. I had several biggies like the power seat unit- 2800.00 and some kind of front steering issue- another 1400.00 and several other repairs. An extra 28 dollars on the lease payment each month which I would have squandered at the bar or the gun shop. Warranty paid for itself in this case double at least. Audio gear - NO Autos- if kept past the warranty period- YES
  5. Nice article. Blue velvet was my favorite Hopper movie. The news station here did not even report it until Tuesday. I thought this was a much bigger deal that the reporting indicated.
  6. Ther is a resturant in charleston that I like. Supposedly according to the waitress JImmy Buffet and Dennis Hopper sat at the same table where we dined.
  7. Dude... your wife is gonna kick your @ss... Better find a 2nd trailer.. or a DBB dog house take up residence.[]
  8. Def are all smoke mirriors and BS. Put a blanket over a set of Klipsch reference- There you have Def. In 5 or ten years when the cheap internal amps start poppng like firecrackers- you will not be able give these away at a pawn shop. Designed to be sold to wives and GFs in a magnolia room with shiny surfaces and glitz. The big brother of Blows. Another speaker that sounds nothing like they did in the store sound room when you get them home and figure out that you got ----ed. Sure- you will get different answers on the Def forum- Denial
  9. Congrats Michael I too went from 221lbs down to 182. Down from a 38-40 pant size to a 34.Took me 6 months Best thing that I have ever done- except fot the 3 grand to replace all my clothes[] Feel better not carrying the extra pounds. Strongly encourage everyone who has extra pounds to do the same ..today. Wish I could follow suit on the job deal- no relief in sight- another kid starting college. Have fun man!!!! Sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I would say that you are kidding..... but with you.... I am not so sure[Y]
  11. Yeah- I know- Thought I was done with my HT before until I heard these Belles and the owner said he might consider selling them. Always something 1% better.
  12. I have heard the definitive stuff. Anything in the upper end of reference should destroy it- especially the 7 series- even more so with Heritage. They do sound like they have blankerts over them IMHO.
  13. UNNRET- What you have 7 Belles now???????????????????? sick puppy-seek help soon HT is so frustrating. Listen to 2 DVDs- no rear or side surround action to speak of.... then the 3rd one has helicopters landing.... machine guns blasting- doorbells/cell phones ringing-ect ect ect and the surround/rear demands change exponentially. I had a dead amp running my Cornwalls-had to go back to reciever power until I could locate a B&K 4420 replacement off E -bay. I thought no problem- I will notice very little difference...WRONG!!!!!! The whole system suffered and was not right until I replaced the dead HK 870 with the B&K 4420. It was like the whole system was weak and lacking. Never woulda thought it.I think that people really underestimate the need for powerful speakers and amps running the sides and rear surrounds. I will buy the belles if the deal is dooable. I am in the TCH/Roger camp on crushing HT.This 7 ch Heritage setup is simply amazing with the right program material. It is really fun to invite friends over who own the trendy audio store or professionally installed HT systems. My system is not all subwoofer glitz-although the RSW 15 will remove drywall if you let it. In spite of stupidly low dollars invested in E bay amplifiers and 80s vintage speakers- for bang and flash- this system will vaporize the others that I have heard that cost several times as much. The belle surrounds should complete it.
  14. This holiday has always been a moist eyed- lump in the throat deal for me. Too many budddies that did not come back from Nam. Too many others that were spit upon and called baby killers upon returning. Too many childern of friends lost in Desert storm 1 and 2. A couple in Afganastan. many friends of my son who traded college money for military service afterward who are in harms way with a policy where they can not shoot back. I worry about their saftey every day. Whatever your politics are- everyone should say a prayer for the safe return of the Heros who lay their lives on the line every day so we can live our daily lives in peace. While most of us are sitting in our comfortable living rooms - listening to our high end audio systems- sipping on adult beverages- these men/wonen are laying in some sand pit dodging bullets from an enemy that they cant even recognize. Something to think about. God bless our American heros - living and deceased.
  15. This place is a graveyard this weekend Bloody mary at the barber shpo this morning- in house bar service- nice- Buffalo burger with maytag blue for lunch with Sam Adams seasonal(not impressed with this variety of SA) Swilling down Modelo Edpecial with lime. Watching some NHL finals- Could care less- kinda pulling for Chicago- My caines suck and were out long ago. maybe head out in the AM to catch that 5 lb bass at the club that has been eluding me. Everybody have a great holiday weekend

  17. Totallly OT but just a quick note to tell you how much I love the VRDs that you freshened up for me from Mile Lindsay. I am a walking commercial fot your products. With JM sadly gone forever- so it appears-Maybe you could step up to the plate and start making VRD PREAMPS?????[Y] Make no mistake- CRAIG is the man.
  18. So who were they? I never abuse low number posters here or elsewhere. Been there done that TH. Chicken$h!t cowardly move IMHO. Post count gives no right to hand out abuse. I dont see much of that here. Class acts for the most part. If it is who I think this move may have been heavy handed and premature IMHO
  19. Dennis Hopper dead at 74. What a horrible day. One of my all time favorite actors. What a bummer.
  20. I hope I live long enough to hear the ^%% Zu Mod-*&*&&!!!!!!! Some idiot told me 2 week turnaround tops. Whae he didnt bother to tell me was that they had no f((&*(ing parts until fall or early next year. I am sitting on a NIB Denon 103 R and a 124 TT not set up trying to decide what to do. Dont count on me to hear a ZU cartridge until they get their s*&t together. I am just a little upset over that deal Glad you are enjoying your BB- Mark would not build me one. I honestly think the Peach/Tercell combo falls short of ther BB for whatever reason. Sold my Tercel. talked to others who have done likewise.very happy with my P2/CPCH PS audio. From what I have heard- Buy A MC cartridge for that BB to get the max effect. Cooking some BBQ to die for- whole Smithfield pork loin-huge loin- 4" dia in the oven @ 325 . took it out at 2-1/2- hours- added my homemade hot sauce. Cook for another hour- then let cool downin the oven for 30 min. OMG what a feast. Buddy came over- got into the Black Jack- maybe set the tone for the weekend. Cheers to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  21. No more cigar malt????? That does indeed suck. Nice little malt for the price.
  22. So Bob starts pouring the nectar for the picture- the camera starts acting up- and the glass gets more and more full as Terry is tinkering with the camera. By the time we are finished the glass is 1/2 to 3/4 full[]. I can say without any doubt that this was the best glass of Scotch I ever raised to my lips. Thanks again Bob- the best glass ever. I will never forget it.
