  1. That would have been helpful. Interesting your take on how it might have worked out had he not been killed. Absolutely believeable scenarios.
  2. So was Bill Belichick when Brady left ya know.
  3. More Alabama dominance fatigue on the way. More talk about Nick Saban being the greatest coach of all time. Blah, blah, blah.
  4. Took this one last night of my kid with his sweetheart.
  5. One of the qualifying reasons being "dropsy" which is simply an accumulation of fluid somewhere on the body like an adema.
  6. A single HVAC system and a fridge? Maybe 10K watts or so. The Honda ones are really nice and quiet, but expensive. Have plenty of gas cans handy. They all burn a lot of gas if you keep em running.
  7. From the CDC: Check out covid hospitalizations in Alabama. Lowest vaccination rate in the country. There are zero ICU beds available in the state.
  8. I didn't take this one, but wish I did.
  9. Snapped this one last night during the game.
  10. Oh funny. No, I'm talking about the harness of the metal during the rolling process .........NOT the finished product. A LOT more expensive to cold roll than hot because the metal is much harder to actually roll when it's cold.
  11. This always true because CR is additional work to the already produced HR plate. With the harder surface of CR more force is also required and the finish is of higher quality which = $.
  12. That was supposed to be a PM about the engine treatment lol. Got crossed up on that somehow. Anyway, there is a shortage of plate steel right now so they say.
  13. Well, I ran diesel fuel in my motor oil and it did seem to help. I eventually rebuilt the engine with NON-AFM parts though. 4 quarts motor oil with 2 quarts diesel to make up the 6 and drove it a few hundred miles. Did not seem to hurt anything. Your results may vary. They were selling/recommending another technique, Seafoam. https://seafoamworks.com/stop-the-smoke-cures-for-burning-oil/
  14. This can be true, but a lot of this is structural cutoffs, damaged tractor trailer chassis parts and legs.
  15. Tubing is crazy too. Just heard a quote on 10,000 lbs of square tubing at $1.30 /lb. Never seen it anywhere near that high before. Scrap iron paying $12 on the hundred right now here. I have 10,000 lbs laying around here that needs to go. EDIT: Our latest price on hot roll plate and tubing approaching $1.75/lb for either one. Nuts. Not that long ago it was around .35 for either.
  16. Our HS Seniors on the football team this year. Mine is just to the right of the tallest.
  17. Shakey, do you push the volume knob to change inputs? Nice pre.
  18. You've seen the movie WALL-E. Big bodies and little arms and legs.
  19. That Starlink is the hot up and coming at $100 a month. Should be really good too when all the sats are up. https://www.starlink.com/
  20. People do spend big money on hobbies that are non-profitable. Photography certainly qualifies. I wouldn't mind having an Canon L F2.8 400mm in my lens arsenal, but dang it's expensive!
  21. Firefox is what I use. Seems you can control those little popups. As for Starlink, lots of dropped connections. As more Sats are launched, this should improve.
  22. A guy by the name of Jared Lloyd took this picture. Wow!
