  1. Or buy my equipment. It's waaaaayyyyy better than Craig's amps or Dean's networks.[]
  2. I'm really surprised that no one had grabbed the Wrights by now. They're a bargain at the asking price. Maybe Audiogon would be a better place to list them.
  3. Thanks Ben. I wouldn't mind if you try all of it. Just remember to mail a check to..... Dyna ST-70 still available. Allan, Your package had been shipped.
  4. Carl, The TD-160 is a great turntable and one of my personal favorites. The R-200 is not the best and most reliable arm (the antiskating mechnism can easily break and it's impossible to repair it) but as you already mentioned, an RB300 would fit great in it's place. Enjoy your vinyl, Guy
  5. Of the 4 CCa's: 2 test very good (close to new). 1 has mismatched sections: 1st section is nos the other is good (71%). Last tube tests good (72/77%). I'd like to get $100 for the tube with the mismached sections. $80 for the one that test good. $250 for the pair that test VG. Or $375 for all .
  6. As you all probably know, I'll be moving back to Israel at the end of the month and need to clear the following items: 1.Kenwood KT-600T tuner. sold 2. Sequerra Met 8W stereo passive subwoofer & HF-1 "WORLD'S BEST" ribbon tweeters http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?spkrfull&1132663285 3. Leak Stereo 20 amp + point one stereo preamp - Mint. SOLD 6. 2 pairs of Interelectronic Coronation Wiliamson monoblocks http://xs.to/xs.php?f=interel-5.jpg&h=xs50&d=05416. 1st pair Fully rebuilt, retubed, rewired. $800. Second pair, fully rebuilt/rewired no tubes $650 http://xs.to/xs.php?f=coronation2.jpeg&h=xs50&d=05416
  7. It does sound like real fun but you do need nimble fingers for that. Maybe Craig can........
  8. You got me there! Does it probably skips like one too? This one doesn't skip at all but it sounds like chickin....
  9. Again, It's very circuit dependent. When I've tried the CV-2493 in either my Airtight ATE-2 or CAT SL-1 Sig III, it just killed the sound. OTOH, it did wonders with an Audible Illusions preamp and a DK design VS-1 amp. There's no real conclusion here so my advice here is just the typical "try before you buy". Although they don't cost that much to begin with.
  10. I think that his Mac's are new and not vintage. Which networks are you using in your '83 Khorns?
  11. Gilbert, This is true. I was the referring to the Thor Audio TA-1000 preamp which afaik, doesn't use any 6dj8 in it. BTW, my experience with the Mullard CV-2493 is different than Allan's. It's just too dark and mellow to my ears. But, it would be perfect in overall bright systems.
  12. Steve, Are you sure that you were using it with the Thor? Afaik, the Thor uses 12ax7's and 12at7's and no 6dj8's.
  13. B2RU, I've got a lot of 5 Siemens CCa's that I'd like to sell for $500. Please pm/email me if you might be interested. Thanks
  14. No but I've heard it more than once and quite enjoyed it. Have you had one in yours?
  15. PrimaLuna amps are very good and not too expensive http://www.upscaleaudio.com/view_category.asp?cat=36
  16. The 6au6's can be used in the tuner section of the 400C/500C but may change the alignment.
  17. Last item for sale is a Fidelity Research fr-64fx tonearm. Designed by master Ikeda, this arm is in great condition and comes with a universal headshell (not original) and an expensive Audioquest Emerald tonearm cable. Asking $650. http://www.audioinvest.no/fr/products/fra_64fx.htm
  18. Allan, Unfortunately, I won't be here by then but I do plan to go and listen to Tue-Sun, Oct 11-16 Manhattan Trinity Featuring Cyrus Chestnut (piano), Lewis Nash (drums), George Mraz (bass). Tue-Sun, Oct 18-23 George Cables Project Featuring George Cables (piano), Gary Bartz (alto saxophone), Eric Revis (bass), Jeff Tain Watts (drums).
