Hey JasNOOB How can you like Vaughn and not like Clapton? Stevie Ray Vaughn Was only a great immitator. When I hear him I hear Clapton,Hendrix and Gibbons. Everything I've heard Vaughn do,these cats did 30 years ago.

Ya Know, I've been wondering the same thing. I listen a lot to the CD channels available on Dish Network.Don't listen to FM much anymore. Though the systems are from different providers the sound quality should be the same. Let us know after you subscribe.

Good Morning! No, I didn't even look at the electrics. I can't remember the salesman's name, but He's a good man. I bought my RC-3 from him. He told me he had the speakers sat on small. I thought this odd because it seems to me that the RC-7s could handle low bass. I want to hear a sub somewhere some time that does sound natural to see if I really would like one.

MagnamMan I have the Stereo. Havn't bought any DVDA yet.

I visited my local Klipsch dealership yesterday and auditioned a Reference7 HT. I wasn't that impressed. My HT is LaScalas front,RC3 center and Heresys rear. The Rf7 seemed kind of thin except when the sub rumbled. I have yet to here a sub that sounds natural. I know these frequencies exist in the real world, but a sub tends to sed them over the top. Could be the way the system was set up,could be the movie(Lord Of The Rings). At any rate I am pleased with my Heritage system and would never switch at this time. Also saw new La Scallas! Mine are really primative compared to these babies. Saving now!

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is George Harrison. The weeping guitar is Eric Clapton playing George's guitar.

I'm glad to know this. I just dudded my LP to CD three weeks ago. I think I'll buy it to avoid the ticks and pops.

This ain't no rap or hip-hop with synthetic electronic bass. This is bass that will knock your socks off. It's the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky. It's the Cincinnaty Symphony Orchestra conducted by Erich Kunzel. It's on the Telarc label #CD-80041. Digitally recorded Howitzers that quiver the gut. Check it out but be very careful because the dynamics are unbelievable.

Kenratboy, If it were not for fine "liberal" (which is derived from the word LIBERTY} senetors like Paul Wellstone the majority of people in this country would not have a pot to piss in. The everyday working man is the majority of people and this was their senetor. Any body that stands up for the has nots is deemed "LIBERAL" as if it's a desease. If it were not for these "LIBERALS" their would be a small group of extremely wealthy people and the rest of this great country would be peasants. There would be no middle class. I am a Sheetmetal Worker buy trade and my wife is a school teacher. These fine senetors like Senetor Wellstone are champions of labor and education.

Unless it was from the Dafk Side Of The Moon tour it is probably The Division Bell tour. What's left of Pink Floyd performed all of TDSOTM for the 2nd half of the show. Get "Pulse" for DSOTM performed live in it's entirity.

CDs - dynamic range, compression, loudness
Lone Palm replied to Vladi's topic in General Klipsch Info
Fortunatly with my recording equipment and excellent musicians and singers I can make homemade digital recordings that are better sounding than most of the commercial stuff. I go for naturally sounding performances rather than getting it as loud as possible. Very few commercial recordings really sound good. I think engineers should take notice of George Martin. He is my favorite. On the BeaTles "Please Please Me", the song"Anna" the recording is so clean and clear, you can hear the pedal on the kick drum squeaking! -
Hey Dale, Ever listen to Blue Rodeo? I'll bet "Five Days In May" would be stunning on your speakers!

youngklip don't use the phono jacks for anything other than a phonograph. It'll really sound AWFUL!

Lot of blood, lot of explosions. As part Native American I was disappointed. I expected more of the title than I got.

Q-Sound was developed by Hughes Electronics to mimic the sonic hologram developed by George Carver utilizing conventional stereo. Pink Floyd used it on "THe Last Cut" and Roger Waters Used it on "The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking". It works but difficult to set up and only one person can hear the hologram.

Jimmy Buffett "Banana Wind" The secret cut is "Treetop Flyer" Jimmy Buffett "Christmas Island" A reading of "The Night Before Christmas"

I'm the sound engineer and recordist for a folk/gospel acoustic band. We play churches and small festivals. We have used a sound systems provided by the city on two occations. Our next show will be done with my gear. It's acoustic guitars and vocals. My question is can I use my Heresys? I have LaScalas but I feel they would be overkill for the size of the hall.
