  9. Looking for insight on the SVS PC 2000 Pro, as it relates to integration with the forte series of speakers. I own forte IV speakers. My system is in a carpeted room, and based on current dimensions, I am limited on footprint. Although this may change in the next 12-18 months upon my planning to move. Also my room is carpeted, will this affect the performance of, since it is a downward firing sub? Any comments, and or experiences with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. My system is listed on my profile page.
  10. The Klipsch Academy would be the best center choice for forte and forte II. If you have the room another forte II would be even better. No toe in will help reduce high frequency fatigue that you describe. Also, the sweet spot for bass is usually 8-14 inches from the rear wall on fortes. I owned forte II for 30 years, and now own forte IV. User @ Deang is an approved Klipsch Xover builder/refresher and is a member of this forum.

  13. A more accurate comparison would be a Cornwall version IV. I owned forte II for 30 years. Recently sold and bought forte IV. The IV series, Cornwall & forte are more refined. The forte IV, INMHO has a punchier bass that you can feel, whereas the Cornwall IV is more encompassing. the forte IV is 99db, sensitivity whereas the Cornwall is 102db. The forte IV is often described as the little brother to the Cornwall IV. I disagree and believe both have their own sound signature. Prior to purchasing the forte IV, I auditioned both and still prefer the forte over the Cornwall IV. However, everyone's idea of what sounds good is different, so audition both before purchasing either.
  14. Once you place the forte models, how often are you going to move them? Regardless of version they are anywhere from roughly 65-72 lbs. each. If you want forte sound, you need to buy forte. EOS. 👌
  15. Stay away from LG. I had nothing but problems with a few years ago. Samsung makes a good TV, currently own one. Mitsubishi was great back in the day, but are they still a player?
