  1. CF3 without hesitation. Like Kip said above you will need to put some watts to them.
  2. I listen to the same music in a small room and all of those selections will work fine. If I had to choose one of the 3 for metal it would probably be the RF7iii. However if you really want the best then grab a pair of KI-396's and call it a day.
  3. It's sad football is over...nothing to watch now but baseball, basketball and golf...….
  4. Thanks Don funds sent. Mods please lock this thread amp found.
  5. @davis419b lets do the Jolida would be a good starter for me I think.
  6. I have a couple preamps that are non tube that I may use if I go separates.
  7. Looking for an integrated tube amp or power amp to use with my Heresy decorator's. This is a secondary system not used often so for this reason I'm not spending a ton of cash. Would prefer something with known history and not needing restoration. Max budget is 1k. Anyone got one collecting dust and not being used?
  8. Well I won 1000 thanks to that missed kick
  9. It's a conspiracy! I say the Rams need to fund their new stadium, NFL rigged system Rams win! Just kidding I think Brady has something to prove, he had a lot of bad press this year about his age and his performance suffering. I think he makes a statement today and beats the brakes off the Rams. I do hope I'm wrong.
  10. Who is gonna win tonight?
  11. What Chris said....I have had much larger speakers (KPT-904) than the CW's in my room with no issues.
  12. I do have a couple speakon cables if that is what you mean. Thanks for the pics.
  13. I bought a couple sets of Klipsch powered monitors and have been thinking of building a small sub to hide in a corner for m y PC setup. I ran across this thread while cruising the interwebs. Has anyone built one of these or some other "dinky sub" for computer duty?? http://techtalk.parts-express.com/forum/tech-talk-forum/58008-voxel-a-mini-sub
  14. Agree! One would think that being as close to Hope as we are tha we would see more heritage offerings...….. sorry to derail thread lol.
  15. Resurrecting this thread. I'm considering buying a integrated tube amp to run my heresy decorators just to try something different. I have a recommendation for the Scott 299 series. Can anyone recommend other tube integrated amps for around the same coin?
  16. Heck yeah!! Welcome to the Crown k family
  17. What CD are you using? My 1132's are rated at 65 watts I believe. I rarely crank mine past 105db and with that they are not seeing but maybe what...20 watts. Nevertheless if you do bi-amp I would try to stay around whatever the driver rating is. That's a good question about the passive network I know on some other Klipsch products they have the KLIP network which protects the HF, not sure about our 904's, would like to know this as well.
  18. @Emile I have tried a couple different amps. I currently have my 904's being pushed by a Crown K2, more than enough gooooooooooooooo for them. I have also used a QSC PLX1804 and my old trusty MC2105. I would say anything around 100 watts of clean juice should surfice, don't want to blow the diaphragms in the HF.
