  1. I would like to know the same info. I am building another HT room. My current pro 4800 in walls will be used in a different room so I need to purchase another set of speakers. My dilemma is that I cannot decide between the R-5800-W II, PRO-180RPW or the THX-502-L. I would purchase 3 for my LCR.
  2. Taken for the Sound and Vision website, "Expected availability is this January, with the BTS-133 selling for $25,000, the BTS-160 for $30,000, and the BTS-180 for $35,000. The KPT-8000M surround and height speakers are $1,000 each. Read more at https://www.soundandvision.com/content/klipsch-launches-behind-screen-pro-cinema-home#Xp6SqUfsW3YiyGqY.99
  3. I just saw THIS video on Klipsch YouTube channel. Roy Delgado is explaining the system. Has anyone listened to the Modular System?
  4. They are still available with a possible buyer. I will let you know after Sunday.
  5. It has been a while since my last post. I have a pair of original oak KG 1 speakers with consecutive serial # that served as rear surrounds in my HT. As you can see in the photos they have some minor chips and dings but looks and sounds good overall. Asking $ 100. If shipped you will have to cover the cost plus material to keep them safe and secure during transport.
  6. Price reduced to $400 + shipping until Feb 8.
  7. Thanks wvu80, I am open to negotiate. It has served me well the 1 month of the 3 that I have owned it. I purchased the Outlaw 10/28/2017 and only got a month of usage before my Azur 551r began to have issues. Sent the Azur in for repair under warranty then after two months I received my 551r which was still having issues. Guess what? Cambridge sent me a new CXR120. If it were not for Cambridge replacing my receiver with an updated model I would keep the Outlaw.
  8. Hey fellow Klipsch enthusiasts. It has been awhile since my last post. I bought this amplifier to add to my Cambridge Audio 551r which I no longer own. Original box included. 3 month old amp. Full transferable warranty ( 5 years left) http://www.outlawaudio.com/products/5000.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuI-qjpLx2AIVh4vICh1SGQMVEAQYASABEgI21vD_BwE
  9. Hey, I am going to try my best to help. Although I am a fan of play-fi I have never attempted to use a pair of speakers in a stereo setting. Which app are you using to setup play-fi?
  10. Based on paul47 post I decided to search out another repair shop in the area that I will call today. Thinking about giving it another go while purchasing another receiver that I'll use to replace a avr. The Outlaw RR2160 looks like it should be added to my list. @Willand I have read good things about the Yamaha
  11. Thanks for your insight Paul79. I think your input is both wise and sound. What do you think I have to budget dollar wise to match the performance of my Technics?
  12. Hey Community, I have been looking for a replacement for my Technics sa-818 that has been giving me issues with repair cost greater than I am willing to spend. My last two vintage receivers have cost $ to maintain so I am looking to purchase new / refurb with a $700 budget. I have been looking at the following. Emotiva PT-100 + A300 Yamaha A-S801 Marantz PM7005 Marantz PM6006 I use the DAC in my Pioneer N-50 so if you have any preamp suggestions that do not include a DAC I would be ok with it. System includes a U-turn Orbit turntable with a Grado Prestige Blue1, Pioneer DV-45A for CD/SACD playback, Pioneer N-50, Forte ( Bob Crites TI diaphragms & updated crossovers) Any thoughts our suggestions?
  13. A little Cornscala love on Cnet
  14. This thread had me thinking of this Heresy iii review.

  17. Pioneer N-50 I picked the Technics up on the cheap. The insides had been restored so it was plug and play. Picked up this Pioneer N-50 also. The pair was less than a new Yamaha R-S201
  18. Technics SA-818 in good condition. This thing is a beast and my Fortes like it.
  19. Good morning forum, I purchased the Pro 4800-W to free up my Forte's from HT duty so that they could be relocated for 2CH listening. I was able to purchase a few pairs for $99 a pair on sale so I figured at this price if I didn't enjoy them I would not lose to much. I am in the process of remodeling parts of my home so that it can be used for men's ministry and didn't want to install anything to expensive since my family won't be living here with the men. My impressions so far are beyond my expectations. I watched I-Robot with my wife last night and really enjoyed the experience. It really helps having the same LCR speakers across the front.
