  1. Wow. True high end. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  2. Can't remember the name, but track 13 off "Dre, Chronic 2001" has really deep loud bass. (at least to my ears) I cranked it on the JVC gigatube system, and my shirt was blowing from 3 feet away. I would love to here it on a real sub that someone with $2000 to spend would buy. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  3. Robbie was joking with that post. I had to help him a bit.(never hear of these speakers)April first is allways fun. But I am a little scared to go get my paycheque.. Anyways, EAR, why is Grande Prairie the *uance capital of Canada? Have you been to GP? You wouldn't like it, Paradigm and Klipsch. Thats it. Oh yeah, and no good audio stores. (unless you like *uance and yamaha combo's) This message has been edited by matthew2 on 04-01-2002 at 01:49 PM
  4. "2.Do as Forrest does, take a hammer and work on the SOB's." lol. He does more then just that with his speakers..But we won't talk about that. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  5. I wish Klipsch had Direct Reflect. I think when the Old Klipsch starts up in April, they will have "sound jumping." It takes diffrent notes, (high, low) and converts it to Higher and lower sounds in the room. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  6. Tell your MOM that the Sony will have to much bass. (Mom's hate that) I she still buys it, Hide some SVS subs in the basement. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  7. Justin, looks cool. I wouldn't go with Mirage. Klipsch should be much better. Mabey you could pick up some JBL pro audio! That room needs something like that! M&K THX. They look nice... ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks This message has been edited by matthew2 on 03-27-2002 at 11:36 PM
  8. Seb, I have been thinking the same thing. I would love an RC7 with RF3's, as long as it dosen't out-perform the towers.. I think TheEar once said the RC7 goes well with all the R. series. - Anyone TRY this yet? ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  9. Thanks for all the info guys. I am 16 in high school, so $2000 amps are not gonna happen. really, If the B60 was cheep, I'd save, but it's not. Since I can't have a Credit card, I can't buy off the net... Im thinking Klipsch RF3II's with a 2ch Harmen.K. reciever. Not high end but not garbage. I think it has pre-outs, so I may get a nice power amp for it. (If I can) NOS440: Your kids play rap on tubes? I would think the bass would be "slow." Not tight. Sure it wasn't the 15" sub? ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  10. Thanks for the replies guys Mobile: Yes I can see why tubes would be better in the mids. However, what if my music doesn't all take place in the mids. I'll liston to anything from Supertramp, to metallica, to Dr. Dre. Bass heavy stuff! How do tubes do with "newer" music? ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  11. $2000 US? Ouch. Not gonna happen! I thaught they were like the same price as the RF3! ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  12. I am pretty sure the Bryston B60 is an integrated amp right? Is it any good, and how much does it cost? (Nice to know in CDN dollers?)but I could convert. Thanks ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  13. Anyone? ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  14. Imageman! Didn't even see yours! WOW! ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  15. Underhanded Penguin! Nice set up! RB3's or RB5's? Very nice! ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  16. If you live in Canada, what would you say is a fair price for the RF3II's? CDN reg MSRP for RF3II's: $1400 ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  17. Bob, THANX for that! Although I don't like wal-mart, (my dad won't step foot in there for his own reasons) if they sold Klipsch, I might try to get another store to match their price. Someone up this thred mentioned London Drugs, here in Canada. The store here is newer, and the room is very small, (my bedroom size allmost) they have everythinig on display that you could afford. However, I disagree with them having good service. They have no passion for audio at all, and watch me like I'm going to steel something. Their prices are all MSRP and are placed badly. Does Klipsch have any...umm..Specifications that a store must meat to sell their product? ---- PS Please ignore spelling mistakes...Im not to good at that! ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  18. I will not buy Klipsch if they are sold at wal-mart. EVER! ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  19. Great, now I have to change. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  20. If you could use an RC7 with the RF5, then could you use it with the RF3? Would that make a good HT/multi ch. music setup? Would I be wanting to buy bigger (not gonna happen) mains like the RF7? I wouldn't do something like that if the RF7 sounded better on music then the RF3. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  21. M5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 m5 ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  22. Im wanting to buy a reciever soon, and am very concerned about 2ch performance. Does anyone have experience with either the AVR120, HK's 2ch reciever, ( 75 watt one) and how the sound QUALITY match up to each other. If you had to have either for music on;y, and they cost the same , what would you choose? I ask this because although I love surround sound, many at this forum say quality is more important the quantity. I agree with that also. -- second question. How would an Outlaw 1050 compair to the two listed above? Im planning on buying RF3II's. Thanks! ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  23. I do not believe that klipsch would be a good idea if you want to do some, "quiet listoning." Something more laid back mabey?(I can't tell my mom that, or I won't be getting those RF3II's!!!) I would say that because Klipsch is very dynamic for the price. soft is soft, and loud is LOUD. ---------- And yes, I have heard these speakers. They are pretty damn good for something costing $549 a pair! ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks This message has been edited by matthew2 on 03-07-2002 at 10:07 PM
  24. Stu Pidass is right! Power has nothing to do with it really. In the world of mini systems, (Im experienced with that lol) Power ratings mean nothing, nothing at ALL. You can't take a system over another system because of the numbers on the box. My sony has rated 160 W output. Yet, it is louder then any other ministstem I have heard, ever. ------------------ I think it would be a good idea for you to get a center speaker. KLIPSCH. With the more effeciency, it will help equal out the unbalanced power output across the front soundstage. ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
  25. I dont want to even buy the RF3's MONTHS before the cherry! I ant to know. Anyone notice that when someone asks a question like this, klipsch does not want to answer? ------------------ Matthew Klipsch Rocks
