Just FYI
The Stonehenge is N.A. Erich says it was made for the SI 18" subwoofer and since that is no longer available he doesn't know if or when the Stonehenge will be available again.
$2.69 here in these environs. But the extra dollar we pay over some of you guys is apparently not enough because thay want to charge us a mileage tax too.
I understand what you want to do. I'm sorry I wasn't clearer in my response. I think the walnut veneer is left nautral. Then a product like Watco with no stain is used for the 'oil' finish or clear lacquer for the 'lacquer' finish. But I'm no expert and will certainly defer if someone from the factory says I'm full of you know what.
etc6849,
You sure said a mouthful when you stated "what a CD CAN do". Problem is it is hardly ever used to its potential. Google 'loudness wars' if you have never done so before. Its enough to make you ill.
OK TADS are on their way--- Merry Christmas to me. Can someone point me to the DX38 settings for the 2(or3) way Jub just for reference. I think they're here somewhere.
OK, I have Oiled Walnut KHorns. Any touch up or renewing I have ever done is with Watco nautral oil finish - no stain. The color looks the same to me. Hope this helps.
50 up to what? Just for clarity. I don't want to tell people what they can and cannot hear. Sorry for the hijack.
Don't understand what you are referring to.
I am referring to at some higher frequency you can start to detect(localize) where a sound is coming from. For clarification what is that frequency?
60dB = 1,000,000X. so if the loudest is at 1000watts the softest is at 1 milliwatt. A live performance by a symphony may have 60db dynamic range, a recording of such..... nah
