  1. if you do find evt35 originals - can you please get back to me with a pm - tx
  2. New bulbs are $40 - $200.- why such a difference
  3. the internals of the cable is no different than a run of the mill twisted wire - but the tooling needed to make the bi-wire and the fabrication process in shielding materials is expensive making this 8 ft pair of Kimbers a very good quality cable for years to come - that would be ruined -you can fabricate an extension of the cable with the right connectors using the same gauge - the connectors are dime a dozen and the result would be very good -
  4. the exhaust nozzles must take a hell of a beating - The engine is ingesting all the oxygen that is ladden with salt water vapor While turbine and compressor erosion is indeed a problem (we can install a spare engine in minimal time), airframe corrosion leads to most down time. Our artisans must fashion replacement parts from raw aluminum, heat treat and install; not a quick thing. I am always on the look out for licensed folk that are skilled at this. good luck -the electrochemical attack is increased in a hot, moist climate ,areas hit : landing gear -wheel wells -water entrapment , engine frontal , cooling vents , battery -bildge -wing flaps , spoiler recesses , external -hinges

  6. nice place to hide from the wife or kids -
  7. see this https://www.google.com/maps/place/Corpus+Christi,+TX+78418/@27.6666289,-97.2286056,12z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x8668f15fb8663649:0x4454da4a8320d12d and you will see that I am surrounded by salt water. and it does not rain a lot - so you guys get the evaporated salt all over -
  8. Which is close to what they had in a famous NYC loft and dance venue in the '60s. I believe they had Klipschorns in each of 4 corners, and -- I think -- two McIntosh 275 tube amps (2 channels each). I hear people found it overwhelming (in a good way). you may be referring to the famous LOFT - steve mancuso's dance club - they had a set of seven Klipschorn floorstanding speakers arrayed in a circle around the dancefloor -
  9. - yeah I agree, the olders ones were really sharp - where does the corrosion come from in texas , I though you guys were in a dry weather -- out here in the north country - we use 3 sets - 1 winter -1 summer - as we have tons of salt on the roads in the winter - plus it is so humid -
  10. you can recone these as well -
  11. ok - so you want tp paint over veneer - first step would be to repair - and sand - then the paint must be spray painted or your speakers will look like they were painted over with a roller -the ideal would be to spray paint as well a couple of coats of clear - the factory does this on all their black painted surfaces - done properly , you will have rejuvinated the speakers - done the wrong way - they will not look right -
  12. just to advise you that the cheapest option for you is to buy the latest pie slice logo from klipsch -a set can be sent via mail - these are a stick on product - just peel and stick on -they would not be exact for the year but they are original klipsch -good luck

    Cornwalls?

These are pretty rare to say the least -the Jensens are not my favorite however unless you use them with little power -- the newer series are better to my ears , more responsive -
  14. great news - we are waiting for a new Jeep Renegate to come in any day now -an italian Jeep -http://www.jeep.com/en/renegade/photos-and-videos/#gallery=video&asset=2
  15. a new wire 12 gauge is not expensive - scrapping a nice 8 ft Kimber 4tc is -
  16. the most beautiful k-horns were the 60th version - the top was piano black - the sides black mat and the front - lacewood - the bottom front had a black strip with a logo in the front that handled the area where most nicks occured - here is a better look - http://www.itishifi.com/search/label/60th%20anniversary%20klipschorn
  17. the new pie plastic logos are practical in that you peel and stick - very easy to do - that is what the factory has on all the new heritage series and they dont look that bad - they dont bend or bump -
  18. The edit look fine. Great job! +++ I'm glad your son is OK. The picture of that upside down Jeep is just frightening. s -it is like a roller coaster ride but ending on your head upside down -that car will be fixed in no time - these are built like tanks
  19. very expensive components for the era - definitely meant for the few who could afford such a setup- thank you for the pictures

  21. take a look at the rear wheel -passenger side - the mag wheel rim is broken at the top edge - these SUV's have very little suspension travel - once you exceed the suspension travel - the chassis lifts naturally and the wheel or wheels are off the ground -what follows is the roll-over -
  22. I stand corrected - yes - the jeep liberty - first time a rollover was actually written was in 2001 - http://autoweek.com/article/car-news/jeep-rollover-proves-hard-understand
  23. a Classe amplifier -
