  1. Any chance you’re moving east? Lol I’m interested but in NY
  2. No affiliation. I usually see them for $200+ https://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/ele/d/klipsch-rb5-speakers-and/6520927163.html

    Aragon 2007

No affiliation. These don’t come up often and are usually considerably higher. $899 shipped https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F312090545793
  4. I doubt they were Cornwall III’s for $40. Anyone that bought them that recently knows their worth.
  5. Adorama has the RF-7II for $800 each with free shipping and the RC64II for $700 with free shipping. Pretty good deal for someone that is having a hard time finding stuff local. https://www.adorama.com/kprf7iib.html?sdtid=11243395&emailprice=t&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_source=rflaid62905 https://www.adorama.com/kprc64iib.html?sdtid=11243395&emailprice=t&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_source=rflaid62905
  6. I’m not too far from this, but I feel I’ve seen some minty ones go for around $400. Cabinets are damaged and driver’s could be blown. Probably not worth it.

    KLF30’s for $500

http://www.avsforum.com/forum/209-audio-gear/2946750-klipsch-klf-30-pair-legend-series-sale.html no affiliation. Seems like a great deal
  8. Lol I just looked. I’m 903 miles away. At .15 a mile that’s only $135.45 for delivery. Hell of a deal! Even if he charges both ways that’s only $270. If I had a place to put them I’d go for it! I have a feeling he wouldn’t though

  10. Any updates? I'm debating trying the atmos speakers myself. I'm curious if it's worth the effort. Mounting speakers in the ceiling is not an option at the moment.

    New Sony OLED

I don't think my link worked. This one https://slickdeals.net/f/10519088-lg-65-oled-ep-oled65e7p-for-2600-ebay-free-shipping?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

    New Sony OLED

What about this? Supposedly it doesn't matter if it's an authorized retailer with LG http://r.ebay.com/uztMyZ Nice tv! I prefer the Sony myself. I've just had good luck with them. My current one had a problem years out of warranty and they replaced it for free. They have my loyalty for that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I had the RP160's for a while and was very impressed with them. I believe they'd be the best sounding speakers, but I haven't heard the RB-61 II or the Sixes. I'd rate the RP160's up close to the RB75's. Which is great, but maybe not for a small office. They put out bass like a tower speaker. They're also rear ported and should have a little room to breathe. In your scenario the RB62 II may work better since they're front ported. I've always loved the biggest speakers I can get. I've finally learned I get better sound out of going with what's right for the room. I'd swap the receiver for a integrated amp. For a 2 channel rig you'll get better quality ditching all the processing. The sixes look nice, but I've never been a fan of powered speakers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I think your numbers are right on the money. Unfortunately a lot of sellers are in denial. I converted my CD collection to books a long time ago. It just takes up too much space. SACD's and special ones I keep in their case. Everything is going digital. There's a lot of people getting rid of their physical collection. No one has the time to advertise, sell, and ship a large CD collection individually. They must be discounted heavily. Even though they're mostly your genre, I bet half of them you would never buy on your own. If the deal isn't right, I'd let it go. Let him try to sell it. Chances are he'll come crawling back after a few weeks of ridiculous offers lol. Ebay recommended this movie collection to me today. Like I said, a lot of sellers are in denial https://www.ebay.com/itm/263141696665
  15. It seems pretty much everywhere is selling the Denon 4300 cheap, so I'd probably just get my local Best Buy to price match. I just tweaked my surround and watched Gravity for the first time. I'm pretty happy at the moment. I think I'll hold off for now. The more I looked around I think I'm leaning towards Yamaha. Maybe I'll wait to find a deal on the 5100. I know the Anthems are supposed to be very nice. If I used it for music also and wasn't using separate power amps I'd probably give Anthem a shot. They're expensive and don't have a lot of the features of lesser priced receivers. The extra money probably goes towards better amplification. Which I don't need.
  16. Solved! Luckily before I got really into it, I pulled the amp out further. Some wires were tight, so access wasn't great. I must have accidentally pushed the button that switches from XLR to RCA. Apparently that just makes it quiet lol. Button pushed and I'm back in business!!
  17. So did I. I've also come to realize there's a lot of snake oil in the audio industry. Either way I'd be using separate amps to power my speakers. I feel they charge a premium for pre/pros. In a lot of cases the same processing is available in the high end receivers. I use different systems for my music. I doubt I could tell the difference between a high end receiver and a pre/pro that's twice as much. Considering they're removing the amp section, they should be cheaper. I figured I could use the extra channels to power atmos speakers if I go that route. Pre/pros are the only thing I really hate spending a lot of money on these days. They just depreciate too quick. I've already had quite a few. Honestly if just watching a movie I don't know if I could tell any of them apart lol. I figured I'd hear a difference with atmos, and gain some more streaming options. I'm still on the fence. I looked at a few today. The Yamaha Aventage stuff seems pretty solid.

    Heresy II $250

No affiliation. Look nice for $250 http://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649365447-klipsch-heresy-ii-horn-speakers-pair/
  19. Thanks guys. I won't have more time to troubleshoot until the weekend. I switched the interconnects and it made no difference. I'm really hoping for wire terminations being the problem. That's probably my best case scenario. I'll report back with what I find.
  20. Ugh... I think it may be a wiring problem. I just switched it with a speaker I'm using in another room. The RS52II sounds fine in the other room, the speaker I hooked up in its place has very low volume too. The problem is that I already ran my wires through the wall, patched up the holes, and mounted them. I heard sound, and just figured they needed to be calibrated. I'm going to continue trouble shooting. I really hope it's not the speaker wire. Any suggestions let me know.
  21. I just switched the leads from surround to surround back. The problem follows the RS52II's. When running Audyssey all RF7's read low 70's on my spl meter. It sends the test tone to the RS52's 3 times each. Raising the volume a little each time. The highest it gets is about 59 db on them. Then it usually doesn't detect them at all.
  22. Yes. I'm experimenting with them now. With the volume at nearly 100% they sound ok. They're being powered with a B&K amp that's 200 watts a channel
  23. I run an all RF-7II surround system. I went from 7.1 to 5.1 because the side surrounds we're taking up too much space. Recently I found a pair of RS52II I thought I'd give a try and go back to 7.1. Considering atmos too. I have sound coming out of all 4 drivers in each speaker, but the volume is ridiculously low. Running Audyssey doesn't even pick them up. I reset the processor. I even have them connected as my mains right now. I have to turn the volume way up to get sound out of them. They don't sound good, but nothing sounds blown. Help!!
  24. I used to exchange pre/pros every year or two. They depreciate so quick I decided to keep what I had until there were some significant changes. My current piece is a Marantz AV7005. I bought it new and it has performed flawlessly for past 5-6 years. Currently the Denon AVRX4300H is on sale everywhere for $800. I was thinking about picking one up while I can still get some money for my Marantz. It'll only cost me a few hundred after I sell the Marantz and I'll have a new unit, under warranty, with all the latest features. I'm considering giving atmos a shot too. What do you guys think, would it be an upgrade? My Marantz is made in Japan, the new Denon in Vietnam. I'm not sure about the quality comparison. Also going from a processor to receiver. Do you think it would be an upgrade if I don't use the atmos? I'm using a B&K 200.2 and 200.5 to power a 7 channel all RF-7II system.
  25. Amp looks cool, but where are the speakers?! We've gotta see the whole setup. I'm on the app, so excuse me if they're just not showing up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
