So I’m a little short guy. Lol. I hit the wrong key and meant to say 6’ or let’s be exact and say 55” or 56” or something like that it has been 12 years ago when I had mine and they were sitting on top of my kpt-484 subs
Dam Carl - you might be shorter than you think 5' would be 60" .
I know I still need to get back to you !

I hadn't seen this before and this story is worth every bit of $30
I don't own a gun for the same reason as you , My temper !
I can't get anymore than $250 a day from the ATM because if I need that much cash after the bank has closed...... It's probably a bad Idea to begin with

I had Belles and Lascala's at the same time and I actually preferred the sound of the Belles but just slightly. As many have mentioned they are very close in sound. The best bang for your buck and foot print in my opinion is Lascala's with a horn loaded sub.

He does seem nice enough but definitely a germ - as in he's everywhere
I rarely pay attention anymore .

I hate Apple/Macs !
Do you know what Apple/Macs and tampons have in common ?

@Gnote so it sounds like the Xilica will do your level shifting for you. Nothing will be needed between your AVR and its inputs. I am assuming your AVR has pre outs on RCA type connectors. You will then need something to go from RCA to XLR. My humble suggestion is to use adapter cables from Monoprice. They are wired the proper way to keep the unbalanced AVR outputs signal ground/chassis ground current only going into the chassis of the Xilica.
https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=115&cp_id=11509&cs_id=1150902&p_id=4777&seq=1&format=2
I'm sure there are probably other manufacturers who make similar and properly wired cables but Monoprice I know from personal experience are correct(and they're inexpensive)
If I have time this afternoon I will put my Xilica on the bench and inject unbalanced signals at consumer reference levels and see (measure) what it does. And report back.
Thank you for all your help No Rush on testing . It will be a while before I can go this direction but the passive MCM XO's have to be getting long in the tooth and I think going this direction would be a wiser choice than having them rebuilt especially considering the added cost of a level shifter and the versatility I would gain !

+1 on the Xilica. This is an excellent processor. Another thing I found out is that it is also home audio friendly. I drive mine with a NOSValves NBS tube preamp. I can't say enough about this point.
So @mark1101 or anyone else , Can you use this without a line level shifter ? I currently have to use one to go from a consumer AVR to pro Amps .

Anyone here ever use these and or have any impressions of them ?

I'm a truck guy . My last project though was in the early 90's . I decided the 302 in my 84 Bronco wasn't enough. Figured a 460 would be better. What a nightmare ! I had to try and install the Engine 3 times . Drop it in and the Exhaust manifold hits the frame Pull it out and order custom headers . Drop it back in and can't get an oil filter on , pull it and order a remote oil filter. Special Pulleys and on and on. Finally get it running and oops oil looks like a milkshake, Off to the machine shop. Get it running and Hammer it , Pretty sure I popped a wheelie but now have intermittent power , oops spun the dive shaft. When it was finally good to go the big Holley Carb had to be adjusted Daily . $2500 project comes in at over $7K . Now I'm more of a KISS person (Keep It Stock Stupid) In the last 40 yrs I've had 1 car as a daily driver Lincoln Mark 7, Nice car and fun but was back in a truck within the year.I am now in a 2005 Silverado Z71 . 208,000 miles . Tires, Batteries, Brakes, Oil Changes, 1 set of shocks, a water pump, and tie rods. Original Plugs, wires, and exhaust

Remind her of the importance of finding that special one just like you found her. That ought to hold her until you buy your next set.
That is the best Excuse Ever !
Where were you when I was married ?
If she complains about the looks you can tell her you are not superficial and it's what on the inside that counts
