  1. A new ( never used ) one on ebay just ended at $525 , and didn't sell. A couple others are in the $225-$305 range, still active. Other members might have better knowledge than I. Seems Xilica is the most popular now, and Dx38 values are dropping. I'm just watching until I get my Jubilee's...
  2. Thanks ! I need a user friendly one, since I'm technologically, and patience challenged.
  3. Would the EV DX 38 active, still be a good choice for 2 way Jubilee's ? Easy to get set up for a technically challenged beginner ? I have seen some used ones selling for reasonable prices...
  4. Thanks, I'll start looking. I've never seen one in person, or heard one. It would be nice if retailers carried a few, so people could see or hear them. Retail dealers only seem to carry AVR's, as home theater seems to dominate the market place.
  5. I've been looking and the only drivers offered are, the K-69A and the BNC 75DE. ( From Cinequip, in Portland OR. ) What is the K-691 ? I would prefer to avoid titanium...
  6. A reputable company building tube amps, in America. Especially a company with a history of building them, I'd buy one or two. That would be " HUGE " for consumer confidence !
  7. Best beer I've ever had. On tap, is even better. Cheers !
  8. Last bump, before I have to go the CL route. All proceeds will go directly to my Jubilee purchase.
  9. Thanks for your honest opinions and recommendations. It's good to hear, before you drop some serious money on Jubilee's. I will keep 1 of my 2 pair of my LaScala's, ( hint-hint ) as I am attached to them.
  10. Glad you love them, any pics ? I am checking prices/options now. Will go active, just hope they blow my LaScala's out of the water.
  11. I really want to buy some 2 way Jubilee's, soon. When looking at the back of the active crossovers, the connections are completely different than what I am familiar with. My amps only have RCA inputs. How do you hook them up ?
  12. I used U-Ship once. Carriers bid on the delivery. Worked out great...
  13. There's over 28,000 forum members here, that love our American audio " Heritage ". Pun intended. I would love vintage Scott equipment, even for $1395. It's a 50 year old piece of electronics and if it stops working in a few weeks, who's going to be able to repair it correctly, and at what cost ? That's what keeps the value down. Just saying...
  14. I think you're right. I'm sure I'll have to go the CL route. Bummer...
  15. Still available... I don't want to do C.L.
  16. I agree with most, changes in substance would be much better than cosmetics... Kick out the jams on Heritage !
  17. I'll assume you like movies as well so, a receiver with pre amp outputs, for sure. That way you can add a power amp later, if you want. ( you will want ). Lol. I'm thinking you want to know which new receiver brands sound good with Cornwall's, such as Onkyo, Denon, Yamaha, ect. Am I correct ?
  18. Isn't that always the case ? Lol...
  19. Interesting, I had no idea. Thanks...
  20. Nice LS1's for sale. I have perfect corners now, for Khorns ( or Jubes ) so I decided to sell this pair. The fronts are fully covered, I assume this was done by a previous owner but not sure. Just a couple of nicks in the cabinets, and they are stained. Both are 78's by the serial numbers, but not consecutive. All drivers, horns, xovers, look to be original.Thanks...

Wonder what kind of sound system, Peyton has. All the mega rich peeps, be fun to see their home theater rooms. Jerry Jones and my Cowboys, must all have Bose...Lol
  22. We all should be so lucky, as to have that kind of "junk" in our basements...
