    Bay Area Jason, I think over the years, iv purchased one or two items out west for a deal. I purchased a Sota TT for a friend that lived in Sacramento years ago... Deal went pretty smooth. Now my friend has one of my old Mitchell Gyrodecs and the Sota.

    Iv been thinking I know this storage lot owner in Rancho a few miles down the road, maybe I could rent a small storage unit and stick a small heater in it for a few weeks, got to dry these things out and kill the mold. when we got home I could still smell the oder of these things. had to change my clothes and dam, I still smell it. Why not just leave them outside, and spray them with bleach in a spray bottle? If you see bad weather coming put them in the garage till the weather is nice again.

    I drove by HSC on Wednesday and they appeared to still be in business. I have never seen any speakers there though. It is a good place to get sleeving for your speaker wire plus any chips you might need though. Must be the one out west iv never been to, we had one here in sactown around old auburn blvd but they folded about 5 years ago. The HSC I used to go to was just off of Madison and Auburn blvd as I recall. The one I drove by on Wednesday was in Santa Clara just off Lawrence Expressway in the South Bay.

    WOW, nice find. Where was this place? The only Surplus Store I recall was Halted in the Sacramento area.

    Dust cover? The round dust cover in the center of the woofer when you are looking from the front of the woofer. It is also called dust cap.

    The one without the "E" has a large hole in the dust cover, so I decided to pull them out of the ad and see if anyone local wants them. If I have trouble selling it then I will have a friend replace the dust cover. It will most likely be easier this way as I don't have to deal with shipping, and the buyer can test them out at the time of purchase.

    I removed the woofers as the 3rd one has a large hole in the dust cover.

    I'm lost. If you guys are referring to the Electrovoice HP640 horns, I have a pair of these for sale. I can give you a good price, but the shipping would be pricey. If you can pick them up, then I can give you a great deal. I am in Connecticut. PM me if you are interested. I think I have a quote from you were the set back would have been the shipping, I will keep you mind though. Check with the freight forwarder and see if it is cheaper if you pick them up from the warehouse. My DTS-10 were only $250 shipped because I picked them up from the warehouse versus paying an additional $280 for delivering to my house.

    I pulled the bottom off of the 3rd one... The magnet is square just like the other one but it is not black and it has only "Klipsch K-33" on it. I will pull it out tonight. How do i know if it is the "E" or not? It looks like it is brand new.

    I had a friend help me get them into the garage... I will take the bottoms off and remove them today. I will let you know and post the pics tonight.

    I have to check and make sure the 3rd woofer has the square driver for you too. I have only removed one so far and it was from the first pair, so I am assuming it will also have the square magnet. I am assuming you only want it if it is square correct? If they are all the same I will ask Budman if he is ok with the 3rd one, that way you get a matched pair.

    You can get the X4000 for about $900 right now... You might be able to get a lower model X series Denon for your budget.
