  1. For 2800 there are better offerings.
  2. $2800 for rattle can paint job, and saying he won't take less says he wants to keep them while keeping his ol lady from fussing so much.
  3. As much as would rather have Walnut (bc I have other Walnut that they would match) I would still buy these.
  4. <snip> However, they were able to show some of that old British fortitude in the War over the Falklands. Argentina never stood a chance and it was foolish for them to try to take it.
  5. Back to the original topic: The main reason I am willing to give my carcass to a university is to save the money for better things. If I can donate anything salvageable and not have to pay to bury the rest, I will.
  6. I always like how the Carver equipment looks. GLWS
  7. A little touching up and those would look great.
  8. Buy another Harley? Did you give up on making the last one run right?
  9. Maybe getting the matching center and sub will help. or some Bose 901 People really gave the SDA technology from Polk a fair chance. In the end, we're trying to reproduce 3D using 2D. IMHO, unless the sound engineers, who did the recordings, recorded in stereo for left/right and a time delay and volume (amount) of sound for each instrument for depth, then there would be no front to rear sound difference.
  10. This was talked about before, you might be right. Link
  11. The ear gets sophisticated pretty fast. Here is what we suffer I drove several miles to score some Polk SDA SRS. They were supposed to have that 3D imaging you're talking about. To a point, they do. In the end, I was happier with the the Khorn / Belle arrangement that I already was using. Until I A / B them, I didn't know what I had or was missing.
  12. HBD to her, but wth do the tax payers there really get by keeping the RF on the dole?
  13. He listed all of his favorite Beatles albums
  14. They are relisted I would like to try them out.
  15. I remember seeing that stack about a year ago I run a different preamp than what came with mine.
  16. Same here. Crashed a couple of times, won a few races. Much safer on the track packing the back wheel twards the turns than to ride sensible on the street. Why, because of cars. Death rate of motorcycle accidents would go down if we remove cars....ban cars. Not if the motorcycle was actually driven any distance per day on a Canadian Road in January. Sorry, I didn't put a smiley with my statement. I am typing with my fat thumbs and don't see where they hid them. :-) And the right tires and driving according to conditions, it would still be less. Recking is not mandatory.
