  1. Glad that you are happy with the sound. After all, isn't that all that really matters? Shakey
  2. How about an update? 🤔
  3. They will get better, but you will get the naysayers who tell you it’s a myth. Mine have about 50 hours right now and they turned a major corner around 40 hours. I wouldn’t swear they are finished yet; but I really like what I hear. Like all horns I’ve owned they will sound better the farther apart you can get them. I would try to get them at least another foot apart, more if you can. Keep us posted on what you hear. Shakey
  4. Any updates? Fingers crossed........ Shakey
  5. All I have to say on the matter is that three weeks later the CW IVs sound very different than they did in the beginning.
  6. I would be livid........... I’m sure we can blame it on the scamdemic........
  7. This is beyond ridiculous. But hope it all works out for you. The wait will have been worth it. Shakey
  8. Yeah, I can't be much help either. Just when I think the system is "just right", I'll go and change something. Good thing I have an understanding wife or I would have been divorced years ago........... Shakey
  9. That's all well and good until you remember that the Cornwall is NOT a horn loaded bass speaker............
  10. I'm not aware that it does, unless there is an adjustment on the crossover itself. But I can say that after more hours on the speakers and careful placement I am extremely happy with these speakers. There's not much I would change at all. Contemplating adding a sub (or two) in the future, but it's not an absolute necessity. Shakey
  11. I have found a used SVS SB16 Ultra nearby. Looks like the business! I might consider this one. Shakey
  12. I am curious about this too. Although I think the bass of the CW IV is superb as far as pitch definition and control, it would be nice to get a little more depth on some material. My question is this. Does Klipsch make a decent sub for two channel music. I don't want to buy some over rated home theater type sub, have no use for that. I was thinking a sealed Rhythmik 12' or 15'. Any recommendations? Shakey
  13. Well as a Don Sachs Model 2 preamp owner I will say that if the SP14 is close to what I hear, it's a steal at the price Joe is asking. Shakey
  14. I'd be willing to bet his brand new speakers were priced better than any B stock out there. Just my guess.
  15. If you are talking about the CW IVs that you ordered, he had a fleet of them in every finish just a few weeks ago when I ordered mine. Always best to call. Shakey
  16. Paducah Home Theater. Cory visits this forum from time to time. I hope it's ok to give him a plug. https://paducahhometheater.com/
  17. It's "affected". An "effect" is the result of something.
  18. Sorry to say it, and I know you don't want to hear it. Should have called Cory. Live and learn, like you said. Hope it works out and you like 'em. Shakey
  19. Nice video. I wonder what those speakers sound like playing music?
  20. A1UC ALWAYS wins............ Shakey
  21. My response to you had nothing to do with how much $$ you spent. It was my disdain for comments about "this time we are living in". All I can say is that that is mostly self inflicted and if I hear "these uncertain times" much more, I might lose it........ Shakey
  22. but Icouldn't justify spending $300+ in a soundbar in the times we're living. You lost me right here........
  23. I ordered my pair from Cory. He shipped them out same day. Shipped on Thursday and arrived the following Tuesday. Couldn’t be happier with his (and Steven) customer service. Shakey
  24. Well I can heartily recommend the CW IV. You won't be sorry. Shakey
