You can make the tailboard gaskets out of almost anything you want to,,,and yes they are supplied with all K-Horns and should be on there.Also a seal gasket on the top horz. board on the bass bin will help to,,,,rick....

Base shoe moulding would be at Home depot or a lumber yard,,,,you make a grill frame out of it after you order grills from Klipsch parts,,,they come with emblems to and are perfect...base shoe moulding is kinda like 1/4 round but one side is wider, you put that side on the speaker makes perfect grill frame for Scalas...Rick

I used 6.3 volt bulbs from parts express part number 070-255 for the indicator and 070-118 for the fuse type bulbs for the dial lights.....Rick

You can get new grills from klipsch then go get oak base shoe moulding and make a frame to go on speaker,,,looks great i think,,,,i did it helps if you got a power miter box with a good blade though.Some will tell you to use 1/4 round but it will not look right use base shoe moulding...Rick

There are alot of tailboard seal ideas on this forum,,,dont forget to seal the top horz. part of the bass bin to the wall .. also if on hard surface floor get some grippers from wal-mart for the bottom. I think some kind of flexable rubber like base board moulding or garage door seal would work good,,,i got K-Horn project going now..alot of work to go before i have to think about seal though..just some ideas for you to try,,,take a walk through home depot and think outside the box looking at different stuff you may find something better...Rick

Well im taking pics on film,,,i dont have digital,,,anyway i got the paint off the front.. good thing the guy didnt paint it right,,lol,,got them all apart i was wondering any of you guys have tips for me on veneering these bad boys? Do i need to veneer the whole top section since some of it shows next to the grill? Anyone with K-Horns chime in would help alot,,,thanks got to get back to work on my Ks,,lol Rick

I got a simple cheap idea you might try...go to wal-mart and get some Grippers and pull the metal sliders off ,,if you have Heritage line,,Andy had me try this after i took my carpet up....seems to help alot,,,,i was in a hurry so i didnt A-B the idea...well just an idea,,,Rick

I would suggest a 40-100 dollar HK 430 reciever...and there are some on e-bay,, Rick

Just take the case top off...then unscrew the bulb holder assembly,,,,kinda tricky but can be done....also you can get the other small diode type bulbs for the power switch and the dial indicator from parts express.Order extra bulbs ,the ones i got some burnt out kinda fast not sure why...if you need more help just ask...Rick

Klipsch put metal sliders on bottom of the speaker to slide on factory floor,,,if you have yours on smooth surface it will work better if you put grippers on them,,,rick

I would take both back panels off,,,compare them to each other make sure all the drivers are the same in each one,,,post the serial numbers so we can tell more about them,,,,if the grills dont come off,,,he had to take the woofer out from the back to check the surround....loosen and re-tighten all the wires while your in there,,,check condition of wiring to....im sure others here have some more ideas,,,,also if you got them on smooth floor go to wal-mart and get some grippers and pull the slider thingys off the bottom and put the grippers in place where the metal sliders were....what are you using for amp on yours?,,,rick

I have some grill cloth i ordered for some Heresys...i got some extra,,,while i would love to keep this free thing going...the c.o.d. cost was higher than i figured so would need a little money,,,,not alot though,,,i got 2 yards but it was 72 inches wide,,lol...its style 17 from Dura Crest,,,exact match i think well let me know if anyone needs some,,Rick

We stayed in high dollar hotel,,,but if you go back away from the beach a little,,,cheaper rooms in older type motels,,,,i had the most fun walking up and down waikiki area looking at the stores and street vendors ,,had live bands at hard rock cafe to,,,also went to Pearl....you can go to internet cafes to keep up on Kipsch stuff,,,,also look into renting a motorcycle,,,or bicycle...stuff to close for car and to far to walk sometimes,,,you can also do laundry in small laundry matts they are hard to find but they are there,lol,,,dont forget wal-mart for food and chips to,,,stock up save a lot of money....pringels on waikiki were like 3.00 but at wal-mart .98.Milk is real high along with gas for car.....my wife could help you out more than me,,,just some thoughts,,,Rick

Just take a batt. powered boom box with external speakers and hook Scalas up,,,,just a idea,,,rick

Make sure you check all connections to woofer,,,loosen and re-tighten all screws,,,,i think this will fix the problem if woofers are in good shape and working at all,,which i think should be fine unless a mouse got to them,,,Rick

Radio shack should change the name to cell phone shack,,,they never have or know anything in there anymore,,,even if you know what you want they dont know how to find it,,,you ask for the catalog they point to comp. and say ,oh we dont have a catalog anymore....i predict radio shack will be gone in 5 years,,,,,to bad use to be good store for do it yourself projects....rick
