  1. Palladiums are the only speakers I'd happily pay that much for if I could spare the money. You may be correct but the spec sheet does not indicate that. Sure looks cool on the inside. Bill WOW!! I am VERY impressed!! Would love to see more if anyone is so inclined..
  2. I'll bet they're just as sexy on the inside as they are on the outside That's just something ugly people say...
  3. Get some Crites or DeanG crossovers in those and you'll be all set.
  4. Come to think of it, it would be really nice to see all of the internals - bracing, polyfill, woofers, midrange, and tweeter motor assemblies.
  5. Just finished the surrounds, woohoo! Sounds amazing! Just gotta do the center channel now.. This has completely satisfied my upgrade urge. :D Not gonna want new speakers for a long LONG time after this!
  6. So mike is gonna be drawing me another schematic, so SO excited to hear the upgraded center channel when I'm done. it's the only one I have left to upgrade after I finish those surrounds later! To anyone else out there wanting to upgrade your RF-3 ii crossovers (highly HIGHLY recommend doing this if you have the know how), here is the layout he drew up for me:
  7. I gotta say, investing in Klipsch reference is the best audio purchase I've ever made. I have the full RF-3 ii surround system and have enjoyed it for years. Recently I was considering going up in the Klipsch reference line, but instead decided to do a crossover network upgrade. It took some trial and error, but once I got it down, WOW, what a difference!! I have so far modded my RF-3 ii towers and they sound better than RF-7 ii stock towers. I am not exaggerating, the difference is truly out of this world! You will not regret buying Reference speakers. The upgrade potential alone makes them worth it.
  8. I'm just better doing this with it laid out simply. Mike Sterh made me an awesome one that was super easy to follow. It's just different from the towers as it has an extra solid core inductor and an extra capacitor.P.S. I listened to some movie trailers and music on the modded RF-3 ii's....... My god. It's the most amazing sound I've ever heard. There truly was a HUGE HUGE difference. Absolutely worth it. My wife who usually doesn't notice that kinda thing was totally blown away!
  9. Anyone know where I can find it? I tried searching and can't seem to. The crossover upgrades to my RF-3 it's and RS-3 ii's turned out awesome. They really sound amazing. I just need to make the center match in quality now.
  10. Those are some really nice looking capacitors and coils. Very impressed!
  11. As stated above, drivers, horns and enclosure all make a difference as well. I believe Youthman has a pair of 7II crossovers that Dean reworked. Just imagine how good the Palladiums would sound if DeanG reworked their crossovers, that I'd LOVE to hear. Why on earth has Klipsch not hired him??
  12. What are those? its what my phone decided to spell when i fat finger the keyboard. If you didn't figure it out from reading my posts it's been edited. LOL, I literally googled it. I feel like a dumbass.
  13. You know, I've been wondering, could Klipsch RF-7 II's with fully upgraded DeanG mods hold their own against stock Palladium P-39F's? Anyone care to speculate?
  14. Hmm, the caps and coils look pretty nice. The resistors look lower end quality though (of course, I could be wrong). Would love to see some Palladium tower XO's,
  15. I sure would love to see some. I am dying to know if they use higher quality parts than the reference and heritage lines.
  16. I could not possibly agree more! Total waste of money. Way WAY overpriced.
  17. Not listening to Dean, then crapping all over them in another newbie's thread on building his own 8" enclosures could be the cause. But that's just a guess. This goes to prove one of my points where I was ripped apart for saying that people in today's society just take from everyone without giving back. There's no sense of community with today's society and everyone wants to either screw someone over in the long run, or take take take without giving back. My own opinion, even though I know I will be scorned by the OP and a few others, is that, if you came on here for help, pushed back at the people offering the help, then went on another thread where someone else was pretty much asking the same thing you did, and then **** all over them, you got what you deserved on the crossovers. Karma. I personally would have said, here you go Dean, take my $40.00 or so and fix me up. But doing DIY and then scolding said help is just wrong in my book. Oh for god sake, stop reading way WAY too much into such little matters. I followed the advice to the best of my abilities, so lay off it. And now I'm trying to "screw people over"? I'm sorry, what exactly did I "take" from anyone...? Good god man... Lay off the speeches of how "society today sucks" - you are turning this into a way bigger issue than it really is.It's astonishing that this can actually be spun into me being a "user" or "screwing people over" - let me guess, you think I'm a... CONMAN! *rollseyes*
  18. Awesome, thanks friend. I'm glad to be here and promise to listen more.
  19. Sorry Mike, I didn't notice the PM. How about we start over? I was being a prick, fine, I admit it. I love Klipsch products and would like to just get along with all of you.
  20. Your dad knows Krav Maga?Thad know over/under 12 gauge Haha, a gun threat, how predictably American and violent. Consider me NOT surprised.
  21. Amazed at some of the load mouth know-it-all parenty pricks there are in here. Good god. Just f**k off already. Got what I needed elsewhere. Bye bye, assholes. P.S. Those big red letters were super tough. Really, I was shaking.
