  1. yes, looks like a pretty nice deal on those. sadly, methinks the WAF on the KP line would struggle for approval. but nonetheless, an attractive deal for someone.
  2. Dan - congrats on your new 'find'. that's awesome! I keep looking & hoping that I too may come into possession of a pair - a pair of anything, but if I had my choice, well, I do have a list. welcome to the forum. a word of advice from another fairly newbie to Klipsch - it is sometimes referred to as a "sickness" my GF would agree that I resemble that remark
  3. I see.. .says the blind man thanks for the info.
  4. KP 250, in this case, KP 250 II - is that a professional version of which model - Heresy?
  5. Yep, I hear yang. Might as well be 70,000 miles from me. Always so far away. Oh well. One day though. One day.
  6. Good for you. I'm still searching for some... one of these days.

    La Scala - NW Ga

Idk. Maybe a cell phone from CA ? I saw it in search results, and thought I'd share it.

    La Scala - NW Ga

looks kinda ruff... but I happened across this during my check to see what deals are out there so, here it is if anyone is interested. no affiliation CL post
  9. I'll have to see how this all plays out. thanks for the advice
  10. Hmmm. Oh shtt... something else to consider. In addition to the CW's, Khorns, Scalas, Belles that I'd love to try out.
  11. Thanks for the info. Not only are you guys entertaining but, now I've learned something new today. (Ugh. What does that say about me? ) Can I go home now?
  12. I looked to see if these might be a pair of the professional series. serial tag says Theater Research, of which I'm not familiar. but someone might be. Fairhope AL

    Hurricane Matthew

a beautiful church. tragic that it now has the shooting connected to it. hope the storm turns away and leave no trace there.
  14. like waiting for a train wreck? just. can't. look. away.
  15. nice. and my Mom's alma mater
  16. Idk what all is connected or the config, but the guy said they have a Denon they had been using to power the system. Gave me a model number, he said 4680 or 4860, but I got zero results searching either.
  17. nice. the old school look with the plus of newer component upgrades I've decided I probably shouldn't even go, financially, so I have dismissed my original idea that I might, cough, cough, be coming down with a bug & not be at the office tomorrow . but I will probably try to get over later & see if any of these are left. if they are, I'll post an update... hopefully a very happy one, with pictures of another 'new to me' pair
  18. I can't tell in the 1 CW photo posted. and it's not like I could tell you if I could make out the badge
  19. no - that matters not to me. I'm looking to 'move up' in the Heritage line to add to my H 1's, so that makes no never mind to me. as I understand from all you guys who've been around longer, apples to apples, no upgrades, CW II are usually better than the I's - yes?
  20. it's been some years ago since I've been out that way, but I saw the same thing. west from Texarkana to Paris and then north into OK. I loved it! and still practice that as I can here in MS (I move right near my white line so those behind me can see a little more to pass me if they would like to. especially the ones that are a bit close for my comfort.)
  21. oh now there's a CAPITAL idea! never thought of that. that's friggin' awesome
  22. oh, if I could, it would all be coming home with me. can't do that. sure wish I cold tho!!! and may even have to pass on all of it, even though I don't wanna. too much increase in the outgo lately. I may wind up being patient for another time, see if something down the line comes up
  23. you get 6? heck, I'll pour, you enjoy! I can't do that stuff much these days. (price later = not worth it) but sounds like a good time trying
  24. yep. to borrow & modify a line - lead, follow or get the @#$% out of the way. now, I must admit I cannot stand people who are inattentive, like has been discussed at length already. the ones who I find the worst are the ones who affect me, usually driving at about the speed limit. you know the ones - you're coming along, cruising freely, well aware of your surroundings, and someone who needs a smack about the head pulls out in front of you, forcing you to slow rapidly and makes no attempt to speed up. it's as if they saw you coming & WANTED to make you mad. it's those people who I have to admit, I do my best to fill their rearview with my grille, and hope they understand. I especially like it when driving the SUV
