Did I mention that these are Version 1?
-
I have just finished setting up a 9.1 setup with RF-7IIs (mains), RC-64II (center), and two sets of RS-62IIs (Front width, side surrounds). For the rear surrounds I have a set of Monitor Audio in ceiling speakers. The problem is the in ceiling speakers are not far enough back and I can't move them further due to the placement of the beams and my drop ceiling. I have a set of AW 400s that aren't being used at the moment and they would be much easier to mount in the rear without losing the space to walk by them in my basement theater room. Would these work OK in this application?

This weekend I just picked up a home theater package from the original owner. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized there was a rattling inside the SW-311 and it won't turn on. I took out the woofer and found a small circuit board. What is this? Can it be fixed? It doesn't look like it was ever attached to anything. Thanks!

Updated price Set of Epic CF-3 Version 1. I need to make space. Sold These sound incredible. One of the cabinets has a long scratch in the veneer on the side of the speaker. I have this facing towards my wall so you can't see it. The speakers have their grills and badges. This would have to be local pickup in Southbury, CT.

Youthman, what did you use for the screen material? -
If only you were closer! I would love to have these in my home theater

Can you still purchase Jubilees new from Klipsch? How much are they? Do you have to place them in a corner?

For what it's worth I noticed the same thing. I asked my dealer what colors of 37 or 38s they could order from Klipsch and they called their rep. The response was that there are none left in stock. Something tells me this is the end of the Palladiums, so I bought the demo pair he had left.

I have never tried the CF-3s against the La Scalas. I just can't physically fit the La Scalas in my basement on either side of my projector screen. They will block the view.

I have spent the weekend A/B testing both sets of speakers. Truly, I love them both and it is a hard decision to sell the La Scalas. The Palladiums have more impact and give a truer tone to instruments with a more forward sound. Some people might think of this as bright. It is not fatiguing in any way and I hear more detail in acoustic guitar especially. However, the La Scalas have a warmer tone. Nothing is missing, but the sound stage is a bit further back, but overall larger in scale. These you can listed too all day and enjoy every minute. If it were up to me I would keep both, but that is frowned upon in my household. Well... at least in their current room, but my basement can't house La Scalas and CF-3s at the same time either.

Thanks everyone! I pulled the trigger on the Palladiums this weekend. I would love to keep both but the wife says 1 set must go!
