  1. The retirement downsizing is out of control- I will regret this, but I am selling my RC-64ii Center. Lightly used in a dedicated theater, it serves up 80% of the HT experience. Like new in sumptuous black and the perfect match for Klipsch RF-7s. Original box available too. Brilliant sound quality. For home theater always buy the best center channel you can afford as that's where 80% of the action and dialogue are! If you are looking for one, this is it. My future neighbors will really appreciate it too! Better pics coming. Fyi, I only check email every few hours, so pls be patient I will reply asap. The RC-64ii can be your for just $749. Local is NOVA, DC, and MD Could possibly meet up enroute to FL (I-95 corridor) in less than 2 weeks if member with over 50 posts and forum references. shipping is possible but sucks the value out of the deal.

  4. Here is your chance to own a Ferrari, well at least the paint on the speaker is said to be. These can be shipped via original box and were a limited run 200 or so made. Onix/AV123 was a great community before the firm owner got in financial trouble. You can have a piece of history as part of the DC/NOVA retirement sale. $175 (for local p/u) shipping extra as these pups are heavy. The reviews were strong for these: https://www.audioholics.com/bookshelf-speaker-reviews/onix-x-ls

  6. Behringer Eurolive B212XL 800-Watt 2-Way PA Speaker System - Built to go on the road. 2 like new B212XLs in the original boxes used for a temporary home theater set up - $210 for both. I picked them up while waiting for my stuff to be delivered and used them a few months in the house. From the manufacturer: High-power 2-way PA sound reinforcement speaker system for live and playback applications (200 Watts Continuous / 800 Watts Peak Power) Ultra-compact and lightweight system delivers excellent sound even at extreme sound pressure levels Extremely powerful 12'' long-excursion driver provides incredibly deep bass and acoustic power State-of-the-art 1.75'' titanium-diaphragm compression driver for exceptional high-frequency reproduction Ultra-wide dispersion, large-format exponential horn Overload-protection circuitry ensures optimal HF driver protection Versatile trapezoidal enclosure design allows different positioning: - Stand mounting with 35-mm pole socket - Tilts on its side for use as a floor monitor Ergonomically shaped handles for easy carrying and setup 2 professional speaker connectors plus ¼'' jack connectors High-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction ensure long life Conceived and designed by BEHRINGER Germany Even Better Than Before These loudspeakers take everything musicians love about the original B212 loudspeakers and upgrade them with the same bass and treble/mid transducers found in our wildly popular B212A passive version for even better sound and power handling. And with integrated overload protection circuitry, they arrive ready to push it to the limit without putting their high or low frequency drivers in danger. Triumphant Transducers Every stitch of these loudspeakers is built to deliver, but the fact is that their transducers (woofers and tweeters) are the only part you actually hear. While some manufacturers are okay with putting off-the-shelf transducers in their boxes, we custom-design and build ours from scratch. Not only do we wind our own voice coils, we grow the trees that are processed into the paper pulp that becomes the cones. We even machine the frames and backplates. BEHRINGER's quality is truly under control. Big Sound, Lightweight, Low Price Big here, small there, lots of this, light on that - everyone's got their preferences, but the EUROLIVE B212XL has proportions we can all agree upon. These loudspeakers pack a clean, punchy wallop (and can handle up to 800 Watts), they are easy to lift by their recessed handles (24 lbs) and are available at insanely low prices. Who wouldn't want to hook up with one of these beauties? Get on the Stick...or Get on Down The B212XL is perfect either as part of a PA system or as an onstage monitor. If the situation calls for a PA, mount the speakers on stands via the 35mm pole socket. From there, send a line from the MAIN OUT of a mixer (such as a XENYX 1202FX) to a power amplifier (like the EUROPOWER EP1500). Finally, attach a B212XL to each of the amp's outputs. These loudspeakers have inputs for both professional speaker cable and ¼" cable. Because they have two parallel inputs, you can connect up to two of them to any channel on a power amp. But these loudspeakers don't have to be confined to an upright position. Just lay them on their sides for use as a floor monitor. You'll find that they tilt to the ideal angle for onstage monitor wedge applications. They also make swiveling wall-mount brackets for the B212XL. RF 7 $350

Damn, must have been a great party
  10. I'd be happy to imagine just a 2.0 setup with them! They sure kick.
  11. Gramaphone has some in NIB black at $999 each. Ouch!
  12. More reasons: No trigger out -- too lazy to manually turn on/off the amp every time.
  13. GLWTS. I've been following the Tekton buzz for a while. How are they different (sounding) than the horns? What are you getting more of or better from the DIs? Or, is it just different? (It has to be pretty amazing for you to sell the horns you've had for soooooo long.) If I was in FL I'd grab them from you!
  14. Esp. Not a bad deal if you a sell the sub to offset the Rf-7 cost
  15. I guess the clearance sales are starting on old II to make way for the III https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0778TVTSN?tag=slickdeals09-20&ascsubtag=bd79c792d08711e7ad780ab13a408f6d0INT&sdsrc=staff
  16. That’s what I was hoping to hear. i knew I really liked the MTM speakers when I had a pair, but wasn’t sure if Klipsch did anything weird to the centers which would prevent it from working. Now, I am off to find a matching 62ii! i plan on running them grill-less.
  17. Hi all, was wondering if Klipsch centers (RC-62ii specifically) were designed to be used either horizontally or vertically? I am thinking of grabbing another 62 and turning them on their sides to make MTM*-style (2.0) speaker set up. *The midwoofer-tweeter-midwoofer loudspeaker configuration (called MTM, for short) was created by Joseph D'Appolito
  18. Price cut - someone needs to give themselves a Xmas present!
  19. Not happy you decided to sell AFTER I bought my RC-64! <j/k> GLWS and fatherhood!

  21. FWIW, Some shippers can use the inflatable foam wrap to prevent any movement inside a box. :-) admittedly, It would take a lot of the fun$ out of this deal
