  1. Oh great, after I retire and DON’T HAVE A JOB... Would you like to bend over now, or in the golden years?
  2. I am still missing the warm and fuzzy feeling of having a deferred mortgage that I won’t be able to pay in six months because I HAVE NOT BEEN WORKING! Okay, so a year form now I can pay it back... With what? Here lies the crux of the COVID crises: who the hell is going to voluntarily stop working so they can forfeit their house?! Mortgages must be PAID by the government while State of Emergency exists. Pay my mortgage, I will weave flags in my basement while I stay safe at home! Everybody gets paid, everybody stays home, everything gets backs to “normal” sooner. Or we drag it on with half a$$ measures that place a bandage on a haemorrhage.
  3. When the Premier of Ontario was asked by the press why drugs and alcohol sales were not closed his response was unsettling: “Ontario mental health experts strongly advised against it!” The next item on the news channel was how northern France is considering a complete ban on alcohol sales because domestic violence went through the roof! I think the reality, at least in Canada, is the RIDICULOUS amount of tax collected on these items (well, everything really) would be sorely missed to cover the “bailouts”...
  4. Is this an anecdotal reference to the COVID?
  5. I would have risked the COVID for those!
  6. 3200 Chinese is all it took to sabotage the world economy.
  7. ...so this is what is has come to in a post-Covid world...
  8. When the freezers are full and the closet doors won’t close, probably by next Monday, I will finally be able to find chicken breasts. Not the skin on, bone in ones... lol
  9. The real challenge will continue to be convincing the invincible to take it seriously. Continuing to socialize indiscriminately in person is now a perverted form of anti-social behaviour. Kids will be kids! For as long as their parents won’t be parents.
  10. ...not everybody is in it just for the money...
  11. I don’t understand how, in 2020, with spy satellites ANYTHING goes un-noticed in the world. Unless it’s intentional.
  12. A little respect, a little religion, and a little OCD will get you through the day. If everyone had your OCD for raw meat we ALL wouldn’t be in this mess today!
  13. Bingo! I think I wasn’t even of age yet. When I “grew up” we advanced to shooters. That was a much more sophisticated puke...
  14. the grain alcohol linked in the previous post induced flashbacks of grape koolaid and cheap spirits it was called a purple jesus party because you wound up puking purple and crying for jesus!
  15. When the stores run out of potato chips and chocolate bars I’ll worry...
  16. I was about to echo a similar sentiment. The very first reaction to a traumatic experience is denial.
  17. My employer has urged us not to visit the office so they are not exposed. But wants us to continue working on the front lines.
  18. I do not believe any shortage is intentional. I would expect the FDA is diligently inspecting produce, meat and poultry. Perhaps stretched a little thin as well. Did anyone watch a similar story on 60 minutes not too long ago? ...watch the ending of Contagion, lol!
  19. Oh crap! I am just north of the border, I guess it would spark riots down there, lol The movie reads just like the press responses from government officials (that watched the movie, lol). The ending is even foreshadowed in a post just before this one about a certain food source...
  20. Just watched “Contagion” on the Netflix. From 2011. Uncanny. It was almost like watching the news, only the governments and agencies acted faster... Still waiting for a Charlton Heston marathon.
  21. Finally found the specs on that model. Tweeter is K-86. I have never owned a pair, but have had a pair or two of d’appolito speakers before. When you are in the sweet spot the imaging really grabs you by the boo-boo! If you are keeping those speakers you can’t go wrong with the ti diaphragm. Save the originals and if you get rid of the 2.5s you can always use the titaniums in any of a number of other klipsch products. Just be careful with the installation and removal, they are quite fragile. I have broken one in the process.
  22. We start taking our health as a race, not a social class, seriously...? Healthy, educated people make healthy, educated choices. But that would cost money and make us all equal... who could profit from that?
  23. It took Trudeau until today to finally shut the border. What a complete f’in moron.
