Non audio, rugged commercial grade tubes. I am not going to cancel my order for my custom tube amp. In fact, waiting eagerly.

I always use balanced cables when able. In my current setup, I am using balanced cables. You should look hard at this RME ADI-2FS DAC IMO. Punches far above its prices point and has tons of features including balance, parametric eqs and standard bass and treble with adjustable q and Fq.

As a DAC to amp user with nothing in between, I can confirm, sound is BETTER to my ears than with a Preamp in between. Less gain staging, noise and coloration. Likely wont work for many that aren't all digital as I am however.

If anyone buys these and decide they want to go active with these or any other speakers, pm me with your number. I have a Xilica I can be persuaded to part with. GLWS, really want these.....

Dunno about the Yamaha, but yes on the speakers. 1200 if you want them bad enough I suppose. 2500 is Cornwall III pricing in pristine condition.

My thoughts exactly..... Not even necessarily 8 tickets. Have the winner pay for shipping and place them on a pallet. What a shame if the winning buyer gets the speakers shipped somehow, some way and they get damaged in transit

Agreed. This will likely be my first and last tube amp. That's why I wanted once and done, go big or go home for above mentioned reasons as we discussed.
