  1. Ok thanks for the info people. I'll go read up on both the Eico's & Scott's right now and see if they sound like what I'm looking for. What are users opinions of these Amps? Craig & Mobile: what type of figures are we talking here? Jalen
  2. I really would like to try a decent Vintage or Non tube Integrated amp. But, I know jack when it comes to tubes....SS guy all my life. I would like to here some reviews on these (scotts or any other simular type set-up) Will they be Airy, Have Wide Soundstage (Layering effect & Decay of notes), Low level detals, Clean Mids, and have a nice clean bass??? Like I mentioned If Craig or Mobile Homeless or somebody had a good vintage piece that offered these attributes on hand for decent price I'd probably be willing to take it off of their hands. I'm scared of being burned by a Ebay or Audiogon type purchase. Thanks and please keep any comments coming, Jalen
  3. Wait a minute...........Best Buy Is selling Klipsch??? WTF.....
  4. No Opinions??? How would you spend that grand? Thanks, Jalen
  5. Hi Guys, I just about have my wife ready to bite on a new amp purchase. I've been reading\researching all I can on the best bangs for my buck types. I Guess I'm looking for what everyone looks for in a amp (Airy\Tingly Highs, Beautiful Mids, and deep clean bass. All with as much of a wide\deep soundstage and low level details as the amp can muster and be as musical and non-fatiguing as possible). The kick is I only have about $1000.00 dollars to spend on this amp. You Think I can find such an amp? Here are the candidates: 1. (Scotts 299?)Been seeing alot about these Scotts 299?'s here in the 2ch room. Could be a cheaper option as well. But, I've never heard nor read reviews on the attributes of these amps. Would also have to find one, Buy one and send it to Craig over at Nosvalves for an overhaul....seems like alot of work. Craig You don't have any laying around ready for sell do you? 2. (McIntosh 7100 or 122) I've heard the 122 and c15 combo and loved them. I don't know if either of these amps can perform well without the c15 pre? I recently bought a 2505 from Audioclassics. But, I had to send it back, it didn't perform as well as I hoped. 3. (Odyssey Stratos) 100+ reviews over at Audio review all in the 5\5 range and seems to be right up my alley. This is the one I'm leaning towards!!!! 4. (Jolidia 302B) sounds nice per reviews.... System I have to work with: Parasound 850 pre Cambridge Audio D500SE Cd player Klipsch RF-3II's Paradigm Minis Which of these would you get? Any klipsch owners ever tried the Odyssey amps? Do those Scotts posses the above attributes? Is there another option you would try? Thanks all, Jalen
  6. That's great news guys, I didn't think I was gonna get very many responses. I guess I'm starting to earn a bit of a whiners Rep. around here (114+ views and only 3 replies as of yesterday afternoon). It seems as if everyone agrees, that a new Av reciever would do me the most amount of good. So, I'm gonna bump it up to the top of my upgrade list. I mean it is one of the last pieces from my first ventures in DVD Video. Next to my TV & VCR. Now getting my wifes' approval is another story. She falls under the same category as most wives, you know ( "sounds good to me and the little lights are still working". "Why do you need another one"?) Prodj101: What AV gear and DVD player are you running? Aren't you the one with the B&K Processor+ Mcintosh amps?? Yikes....... Josh: In their entry level room (Paradigm Micro System + Basic Yammie) they had Jim Carey "The Mask" Playing. In their mid range room (Paradigm Monitor 7 System + $1000.00 Yammie + Progressive Denon DVD) They had that Sylvester Stalone "Driven?" playing. In their high-end room (Paradigm Studio 100 System + Flagship Yammie the size of my microwave+ top shelf Denon DVD) I really didn't pay that much attention here. We were way out of my league. This was also the room that had the Paradigm 60's\Mcintosh combo that I spent most of my time listening to. So, do I own those two DVD's? No. But, my collection is pushing the 130+ mark. With titles like: Saving Private Ryan, Jurrasic Park (3), Gladiator, The Matrix, Blades(2) and all the Pixar Joints, that IMO is just a tad better than those. I don't know if you've ever auditioned Paradigm set-ups or not? But, to me whenever I've listened to Paradigm rigs (over the past 4 years) They always seemed to excel in those areas regardless the movies being played. The Only other decent\up to date HT rigs I've listened to, would be the Definitive Tech Pro Cinemas, Boston Acoustics, M&K smaller rigs and of course the CC & BB "BOSE" Offerings (mainly HTIB type set-ups. Good For HT ? on music). Whenever I heard Klipsch Or B&W speakers they were always in a 2ch set-ups (Good For Music ? On HT). So, naturally I had Paradigm Ranked Number #1 for performing well at both Music & HT. This was until I discovered Audioreview.com and read the rave reviews of the "New Klipsch Reference Music\HT" speaker systems. When It was time for my upgrade I jumped on the Klipsch Bandwagon. When I visited My Local dealers the other day and heard the cheap Micro set, I was bit disgusted at the superior HT playback (Still in the frame of mind that it was all about the speakers). Skonopa: You really hit the nail on the head with your comments. Not only do you own Klipsch Ref. Set (Higher up the food chain, But Reference no doubt). But, you also own the very approachable JVC DVD, and the Denon 3802 which I've had my eye on for sometime now. Your also the only one that mentions that Klipsch are capable of the "panning" efx that i'm after. As for the speaker placement and other tweaks go, I've been messing around with those for the past year now. I haven't tried the "laser pointer" tweak yet. But, in a 15'X15' Livingroom filled with furniture there's only so much one could do. The acoustic pannels are out at this point ( I'd rather spend my moneys on better electronics\matching speakers). Plus the fact that We're scheduled to be packed-out for " Iceland" here at the end of January. Who knows, maybe I'll have a better environment to work with in the Military Housing over there. After the Iceland tour my wife retires from the Navy, and it's House Huntin' time. Where one of Our main goals is to have at least a finished basement or separate family room, dedicated to HT\Music alone. Thanks once again to all whom responded. Your comments were very encouraging. I guess I'm happy again, knowing I'm only a few short upgrades away from having a good all around HT\Music System. Jalen
  7. don't know if this applies to your guys' situation or not? But, if you are running Cable Tv thru your recievers, could be a ground loop hum from the Cable. I had a slight buzz from my reciever regardless of the source selected when not fixing my ground loop problem. I also had another problem when I first got my Parasound Pre amp hooked-up. A Kind meber of "THE Board", suggested I get some cheater plugs & or try different outlets of my room. The Latter ended up fixing the problem in this case. If none of these solutions fixes your problems or is not the case. Then I would look at returning those recievers. Jalen
  8. Yes, Tripod: Yet another interesting point, that I've been fiddling around with of late. I originally set my delay times to 7', which is the same as distance to my couch. I just set the delays to the other extreme at 1', the dynamics were just to strong for Us to watch a movie anymore (Scaring the chit out of 2month old Daughter. Who knows what my apt. dwelling neighbors are thinking LOL). But, on the same note I'd like to get futher info on your distance theory. Thanks, Jalen
  9. Thanks guys, Ricktate: With Dem Dar La Scalas and such I can imagine you not needing a center. I bet you get a wall of sound anyway. DND : You make some very good points. My pioneer is also from the 97' era as well. I guess I was in the mode of thinking that, Heck Dolby Digital is Dolby Digital, wheather if it's a newer reciever or not. I've only heard DTS in the theaters, and couldn't really tell much of a difference from DD. For all of these newer formats like: dts es, dd ex, 6ch, 7ch, and soon 10-12ch. I think they are getting crazy with all of these formats. But, I would still like to have DPLII & Regular DTS some day. But again if there are advances in steering on the newer chips then I guess I gotta have them. As far as speaker positioning goes, my center is about 2' above my fronts. But, this is the only way I could run it now. I Have Played with Toe-in, no toe-in, tilted center and non. The Paradigm also don't suffer from these type configurations, maybe because of the on-off axis response. I know some of you may be thinking, "get a darn RS spl meter, and HT set-up disc". Well, I have those too, and my system is currently set-up via those. I still would like to hear some more comments on how Your systems sound (Panning & On screen efx etc etc...). Come on Guys, help a guy out here. I don't have a Klipsch Dealer here in My area to compare better rigs (I bought My Speakers On Rep & Reviews alone). So, I need your help. Jalen
  10. Gripe Log.........#0003 So, I was at my dealers comparing IC's & Speaker Wire. After which I then decided (as usual) to play around with some of their gear and walked into their "Entry" level Music\HT room. In this room a salesman was showing Paradigm "Micro" HT System, Yamaha (? $500.00) A\V Reciever, Denon DVD 1000, and a Small Sony Wega\Vega TV to a costumer. After listening to this set-up for exactly one (1) minute, I thought to myself, "Man This little set-up actually Smokes my set-up in a couple key areas" and how could this be? These areas include: 1) Dialog and on-screen efx seem to be stuck to the TV, yet the center still covered a much wider area when one moves from one side of the room to the other (How it's supposed to sound IMO, very Cinema like). 2) Panning from Left to Center to Right was just about flawless as this little set-up could muster (Get's better the futher you go up the Paradigm lines, But, still better than what I'm getting no doubt) 3) Panning from front to Back & Vice Versa (Really doesn't apply for me cause I have different rears right now) was also a wonderful experience. This system on the whole had me just seconds away from selling all My Chit. This was until after comparing some of the Higher end Paradigm Monitor & Studio set-ups w\higher end electronics, and coming to my senses. Final notes in comparing set-ups: All of the Paradigm Systems (Performance - Studio Lines) flat out smokes my set-up in those key areas of HT. The Exceptions being in Overall Volume, Dynamics & Bass. Solutions: Get better DVD Player.....Matching Rears..........New A\V Processor\Reciever.....New IC's. On the Musical side of things I listened at the more expensive Paradigm Studio 60's+ Mcintosh MC162 Amp + Proton Preamp+ Sony ES Sacd Player (and although I own a pair of Mini Monitors) , I still prefer My RF-3II's. Here I believe both Klipsch RF-3II's & Paradigm 60's have their adv. and disadvantages. But, IMHO the RF-3II's more than hold their own against the highly regarded 60's. Here are my HT components: Pioneer D906S - getting alittle older - no dts or dplII - I think it's still good though maybe? Rotel RB 976 - I'm realizing that this is a decent little amp i have here. Very versatile amoung other things. I'm running My front 3 for HT & My Mini's as Bch off of this amp. Aiwa DV370 - May very well be the culprit. The Video part is pretty good actually. Ok you can stop laughing now. 36" JVC TV Klipsch RF-3II's Klipsch RC-3II JBL N-26 Kenwood SW300 - does it's job well in my 15'X15' Livingroom Sony PS2 monster 400MKII IC AR- IC Radio Shack Gold IC's 12gu ofc speaker wire First generation no-name toslink cable Things I'd like to upgrade: 1) IC's - just ordered a pair of Monster M950I for my cd player to amp & a Monster 1000d? silver coax cable for dvd player to Reciever. Only upgrade I can afford right now. 2) matching rears - Rs-3II's 3) new dvd player - highest as I can get 4)? Widescreen Digital Tv or AV Processor and on and on etc etc....... Sorry for the long post guys. I just had to vent as usual & report my recent findings. Now I think that the Klipsch Ref3 series may be up to the above task with a few upgrades. But, what do you guys think? How does Your rig perform in those 3 key areas listed above (if at all possible, please list your gear: DVD player, A/V gear, and Cables Etc....)??? Thanks, Jalen
  11. Hi all, Well after several hours of trying to get a couple very detailed responses on here. I guess I'm gonna try and keep this one short and sweet (last two were erased, do to a brown-out & my own negligence). William : I appreciate where your coming from on your reply. You make some really good points. But, after dropping nearly $3000.00+ Dollars on my Music\HT gear since last Christmas. I have to draw the line somewhere. I even went so far buy a Vintage Mcintosh Amp from AudioClassics.com to try and recreate the sonics I heard in the Mcintosh+Paradigm mini+ Old Sony ES CD Player+ Monster M-Series Connects & Wires System (this wasn't exactly High-end system either, Cause I could afford it If I decided to go that route). Unfortunately, I had to send it back, because the Amp only bested My Rotel In terms of Looks & Great Head Phone Jack. As far as CD's go, I own over 450+ Cd's (Homemade Cd's\Mp3's Not included). My Musical taste range from Gospel to Grundge, from Eagles "hell freezes over" to Miles Davis "kind of blue" back over to Dave Matthews Band "busted stuff" to Busta Rhymes "genisis" . Not exactly SACD\DVD-Audio Quality. But, I think I own few CD's that a some would consider "Reference CD's". I still have that same Paul McCartney "all the best" Cd used to demo the Minis that produced the " Airy highs etc etc... that just plain sounds like blah on my system right now. So, the scenario with not having quality cd's is not the case. Audio Flynn : Hi There Buddy. What's the deal with those Tigers and those Gawd awful Lions??? Ol' Marttywigs, should have been fired that day for that darn call. Yes, I was born and raised on Detroit's West Side. Fenkell & Livernois is my old stomping grounds (it's Ghetto Fab now). My Folks still lives out that way, But, I'm now in Mentor, OH which is about 20 minutes from Cleveland. My Family & I are now waiting to be shipped to Iceland here in February (I'm Prior Navy, and My Wife's 4 years from retiring) My 3 year old Sons name Is actually Jalen as in "Jalen Rose". Can you tell that I'm all about my Home State? But, I have to stay lo-key out here in Ohio now. Especially, after that recent Michigan vs. Ohio State game. You see the way these fools where acting down here? Just tearing up the joint. You'd think they won the National Championship or something, LOL. Before, I wore My Blue & Gold\Detroit Gear with pride. Now I have to watch my back around here. As far as the Connects & Wires go. I think I'll give them a shot. My dealer is offering 30 days money backs. If I don't like what I'm "Hearing or not Hearing" then I'll just take them back. No Questions asked. At least If this works out I'll save from having to buy an Ultra High-End Amp+Pre+who knows what else. Thanks All, Jalen P.S. I messed up by adding that blue to this post
  12. Hi All, Although this subject has been debated for years now, here and other boards alike. I'm not trying to start any wars. I was hoping you guys could give your current opinions on Interconnects (IC's) & Speaker Wire (SW) (Both Possitive & Negative Comments welcome). The IC's I'm considering are Monster M950i or M1000i or Something from MIT. As for speaker wire the jury is still out on those. You guys may all know that I'm constantly tweaking My set-up trying to improve it somehow. I'm now entertaining the idea that IC's will open things up for me. My Current Set-ups: HT Rig: Pioneer d906s Reciever Aiwa dv370 JVC VCR Klipsch RF-3II's Klipsch RC-3II JBL N-26's Kenwood SW300 Sub AR IC's RShack Gold IC's No Name 12Ga. OFC Wires (Front 3) Music Rig: Rotel RB 976 Amp Parasound 850 Pre Cambridge Audio D500se CD Player Paradigm Mini Monitors Monster 400mkII IC AR 16ga OFC Wires Things for my music system are still alittle sterile or compressed. Things I'm hoping to gain are Airy Highs, Better seperation of instruments, Better Soundstage Depth\Width\Height. I know per reviews that most IC's especially monsters have good Bass, heck my Radio shacks have good bass (Anyways, Bass isn't a issue if i could obtain a little more of the other attributes. Besides I have a sub). What do you guys think? Are these some of the things that IC's could help improve upon. If so, any particular Brands I should consider for those type sonics? Thanks, Jalen
  13. Hi There, I have an Older Rotel (RB 976) , Bridged 150W X front 3 (Klipsch Rf-3II's & Rc-3II) in My Home Theater. It does the job well in this area with great bass, dynamics, and decent soundstage. On the music side of things I think the Klipsch + Rotel combo can get a bit fitiguing after a while. My Rotel + Paradigm Mini's are a little better match, But there's still something missing (Most of The Big Audiophile attributes). Still better than most receiver only systems. Home Theater - ***** Highly Recommended Musical - ***Average The Rotel Model your looking at may be better. *********************** Possible Better Musical Alternatives Tubes - (Almost Any per board members) McIntosh Amps - (Got one on order now, can't wait (Warm Tube Like) Sunfire ? Amps - ( Great HT\Musical - Warm great match, per board members) Odyssey Audio - (Stratos & Mono's are making big noise musicaly per reviews) B&K - (supposed to have some warm sounding amps per board members) *********************** Damping Factor is the bass response the higher the better supposedly. I Think any amp from the big name Companies will have good bass regardless. Good Luck Jalen
  14. I'd also say go for the Mcintosh amps! I can't wait to get me some kinda McIntosh set-up! Wish I had went with Mc instead of this Rotel I have now....LOL Donations welcome Good Luck, Jalen
  15. Hi there, What type of set-up are you running? I don't think that Wire or Cables can cause Hum. Maybe as you say they can amplify it somehow. Anyway, I'll list a couple of examples of things that may cause hum and possible solutions to these problems. Example 1.) Your running Cable TV through your set-up: Sometimes Cable TV causes hum in Receivers, Amps, & Preamps. Solution: 1.) Try a "Ground Loop Isolator" which can be had for about $10-20.00 bucks at Radio Shack. Example 2.) Your using "3 Prong Plug" on your Amp Or Preamp: People also have Hum with their amp\preamps when using these type of plugs (I did with My Parasound Pre). Solution: 1.) Try plugging into different outlets in the room (It worked for my Parasound). 2.) Try a "Cheater Plug" (turns 3 prong to a 2 prong) can be had for like $2-3.00 bucks for 4pac at Radio Shack. 3.) (I don't own one) But, folks are saying those "Line Conditioners" clean up things quite a bit. Can cost well into the Hundreds. Hope this helps, J
  16. I think that Michael Jackson is the coolest I've seen thus far. There's a cool Marlyn Monroe (Sp?) floating around, that should get mentioned (I forget Whom it belongs to). There are also a couple of South Park animated Joints that are really cool!!! Just a few of My favorites J
  17. My 4 Cents: JBL makes decent speakers for the money. I own a pair of the N-26's, which are currently pulling rear duties in My HT setup. Now I don't know exactly how Low those dual 10's will go, and if your thinking about running these without a sub or not (If they get lower than about 40HZ and Your Planning running without a SUB then they may be a decent choice). But, IMHO at least a 1" Tweeter is a must for better detail in Music and Home Theater. If I Had about $600.00 to spend on a new pair of Speaks these would be the models I'd consider (again I have a sub for HT): (1)Klipsch RF-3II's - ($550 - $700) = (IMO) Best bang for the buck Very Solid all-rounder. The Best Dynamics\Clarity of the lot that I'll list here besides the "Heritage" (sp?) of course. In the end, I Bought these for my music\theater setup and couldn't be happier (2)Klipsch Heritage line - These have a huge following around here. The only experince I have was listening to a pair of la scalas back in 95'(Guam, Andersen Air Force Base). These are some sweet speakers.... (We Filled a "Air craft Hanger" with some Beautiful Music with a pair of these) But, these are out of your\my budget Range. (3)Paradigm - Monitor\Studio Series'- If it weren't for My Klipsch purchase, I would have ended up with all "Digms" all around. In fact I bought a pair of the mini monitors for the Hell of it after the Klipsch purchase (B Ch. Inside\outside duties). (4)B&W & Definitive Tech - Makes good speakers (worth the audition) can get costly real quick like!!! (5) JBL Studio - *Note* (1" tweeters, 4" midranges, 8-12 woofers) could be had for $320 - $800 give or take. Into Theater? (2) pair of S38's= 650-$700 online More music & maybe Theater later? (1)pair of S310 or S312= 650-$750 online (6) klipsch SF-2, Paradigm Performance series, JBL Northridge, Polk audio, Boston Acoustics, and on and on...... *Other Bigtime Receivers to look at: Denon 2802 - about $500 online Outlaw 1050 - about $500 online Yamaha x630 - about $320 online Pioneer 850S - about $350 online Denon 1803 - about $350 online Check out: www.etronics.com (www.outlawaudio.com (www.brandnamez.com (www.reliableaudiovideo.com *Couple CD players to consider(Probably beter audio quality) Sony ES m555 5 disc(sacd) $380-600 Sony ES m222 5 disc(sacd) $215-400 Cambridge Audio D500SE (I just bought this one) $379-450 Sony ES cd 70es 5 disc(was considering this one myself) $215-299 Cambridge Audio D300SE $299 Check out: www.crutchfield.com (www.oade.com (www.audioadvisor.com ***Don't count out the used markets on any of the Speakers, Receivers, Amps, or Cd players you might like!!! Look here: www.audiogon.com (www.ebay.com Sorry for the long post. I guess the biggest point I'd like to make is, the sky's the limit when it comes to your new audio purchases. Of Course 97% of the people here are gonna Vote for "Klipsch Speakers" regardless the different makes and models (Duh, This is the Klipsch Forum and Bet your still a undercover klipsch Fan). But, at the end of the day it's gonna come down to your Wants and Needs in speakers. Don't get caught up in the "local Circuit City & Best Buy" stuffs cause even if you decide to purchase JBL speakers the bigger better deals are online. Lastly, I can almost "guarantee" that if you were to go out to some other Audio Store IE; (Tweeter\Klipsch or shop that carries B&W\Paradigm etc). That you'll end up with something other than JBL!!!! Now I'll Buy That for A Dollar!!! Good Luck & Happy Huntin' J
  18. THX for the info Guys. Ima heading there now....
  19. Hi all, I finally have my avatar in pretty decent shape. Was wondering if there's a way to edit our signatures in this new system (Font size or Color)? Alot of you guys really have you Sig's together. (Joey D is pulling alot of Strings up In DETWAIT. I wonder if He's pulling the right ones?) Thanx, J

    A Beautiful Mind

    - My 2 Cents - A Beautiful Mind was a good movie. It has a couple Dry areas, where if you really not paying attention you could get lost. Jalen's Rankings: ***.5 out of ***** Rent before you Buy!!! J

    Red Dragon

    - My 2 CentS - Jalen01<-----Bigtime Movie Buff\ Self Proclaimed Movie Critic IMO, Silence of the Lambs was a instant classic. It belongs right up there with likes of The Exorcist & The Shinning. A Definite Must see!!! Hannabal Did get dry in a few spots. But, it's still a pretty good Chiller in it's own right. Also Pretty Gross. Hannabal was the only other movie that had me nauseous (sp?) as I was leaving the Theater. (The first was the Original "Texas Chain Saw Massacre" that I saw Back in my pre-teen years). I've yet to see Red Dragon. But, if it's anywhere near as good as the first two? Then it will be a most welcome addition to my collection. Well, You Gotta have the set! LOl J
  22. Hi Z, I added A used Rotel RB 976 (Now Sold As Rmb 1066) 6 ch. amp to my Pioneer D906S\Klipsch R3 set-up. At first I hooked it up 150 watts X the Front 3, I noticed Louder Volumes, Bigger Better Dynamics, And Little Better Bass Response. The Rears Off The Pioneer seemed to hit alot harder. Home Theater Is Great. But, My Music playback still sucked!!! I then Ordered a New Parasound P\PH-850 2CH. Pre, and ran it and the Rotel+RF-3II's for music. I noticed Huge Bass Response (50% Better) & Very Loud Volumes\Dynamics. I later tried The Rotel hooked Directly to cd player without the pre and got same response, bass and all. (Duh, this Rotel has volume pots) My music still sucked!!! Members Here on The Klipsch Forum Suggested I get a new Cd source. (Thanx Guys!!) I Was running a 10 year old Technics Cd Changer, and Like You I found that My Aiwa DVD player sucked at Music playback (MP3 & Movie Playback is aight). So, I ordered a Cambridge Audio D500SE Cd Player. After break-in things improved across the board!!! Bigger soundstage, low distortion, Airy presentations and the Improvements from above (Dynamics, Loudness and Bass). I now can say that I'm pretty Happy with my set-up. I have a great Theater & Music system. If your Cd player is up to the task??? Then a Outboard 2-7 CH. Amp should net you the same type results. Just shoot for at least 150-200 watter(per ch.) Or You'll end up like me Changing Chit every other week(do I bi-amp, do I bridge, Do I bi-wire, or do I run 3X60 for Klipsch & run 2x60 paradigm? It's mind boggling) So, If You want better dynamics, Bass & volume??? GET A AMP!!!! If you want better music playback??? DOUBLE CHECK YOUR CD SOURCE, THEN GET A AMP!!!! Even if you can or can't afford one??? GET A AMP!!! Just do alittle research\auditioning before you buy one! Don't forget about the used markets: www.audiogon.com www.ebay.com Enjoy, J
  23. Just rented both S. King & The Brotherhood. Neither are anything to write home about. I thought The Scorpion king was a little better than I was expecting & The Brotherhood was a little worse. But, the brotherhood added a "Boobie Count" of 8, which helped spice up the painful plot. Review: Scorpion King - *** out of ***** The Brotherhood of the Wolf - **.5 out of ***** Conclusion - Rent Them before you purchase!!! J
  24. Just saw Monsters Inc. the other day. Wow, what great FX those guys have!!! Makes me second guess getting matching (rs-3) rears (it blended so well). Why can't the other studios mix as well???
