  1. LOL, OK, the SUV was stretching it a hair …. as I type this with my feet on the desk, but I get those kind of idea's whenever I see a New Car Ad, and actually think about one in my Den, with the power control's.... ok, I'll stop.
  2. I have to relay what may be a $200 solution to the chair of this topic, for a man that constructs a lot of amplifiers and other electronics'. --> How about a "used" leather SUV seat, with one arm rest - naturally, whatever the market has to offer.... then, since the seating issue is solved, begin a six caster board mounted optimum roller device which would hold a few tools and soldering irons underneath the seat, on the open side without the armrest, and several 4x4 solid oak platform risers to bring you up to the measured monitor viewing angle !
  3. Con't - Office Chair recommendation - Office Depot - Serta's Verona - SKU 304576 - nevertheless, it has a mid back... but there are more to choose from, Serta's Hensley Big & Tall SKU 304574 has a 10 yr warranty, 400 lb weight limit, high back, etc etc and is about 300 $$ The Mesh style chair's were too "NASA Looking" as in - that's a new description I just invented, with a reference towards the Jetson's tv show in the '60's, I had one for about 4 months before I got the Serta, and was able to Craigslist it out the door in a day, in Dallas
  4. Bonded imitation leather will eventually crumble, fabric won't be very fitting for the Executive style, which leaves wood or leather... Another point - eventually it'll squeak, and the pad will loose it's comfort, which leave's me will one financially viable option to suggest. Try a Serta Office Chair - the same company known for their line of bed's. Extremely durable and comfortable, It's the last chair I obtained a couple of year's ago and some day, it's going out in the alley for trash pickup, and I am sure I'll go fetch another without blinking an eye or talking out a loan....
  5. Watermelon Festival, Hope AR, 9th through the 11th, 2018.... Time just slip's away sometimes
  6. Looks Wonderful, Keep up the Good Work !!!
  7. I was looking for a K-5-J, a Stephens tru sonic, University squawker and tweeter and a museum relic condition.... … And then I found my 1954 on CL and it's a 10/10 mint incredible, there were a few posts and questions about it on this forum, with an equally incredible story... $1500 was perfect to me for my mono one of a kind.... Lord help me if I ever find it's primavera mate
  8. perhaps a 2 wheeler appliance mover, with the v-belt step sliders and a strap attachment
  9. I bought a small bag of Folgers new "1850" yesterday... it was alright, I was expecting a package upgrade to transpire into my cup comments, but I'll continue to explore. Speaking about exploring --> Does anyone think Maxwell Houses' vintage coffee perk commercial is musical, good to the last drop....
  10. Permission to digress - it seems that some orchestra's are better than other's, such as... The Cleveland Symphonic Winds or The Dallas Wind Symphony, to name a couple from my afternoon CD listening experience today - when arrangements from the 1800's are the classical agenda. Furthermore, why hasn't Sousa been picked yet ? Carry-on
  11. Philosophically unknown, reason's with no unlikeliness, Naturally a happening
  12. I couldn't resist a contribution and some insight into comfortable and relatively affordable, durable. slip resistant and semi-water proof shoe's - 3 current pairs of boot's on hand - all equipped with Dr Scholl's gel insole's, from the left are my steel toe work boot's, middle pair are non-steel toe drinkin' boots, and the nicer of the three on the right suffice as dress up when required. As for Cowboy boots, I wore Acme back in the 70's & 80's and switched to Sear's Die Hard's after an unpleased slip on a slick warehouse floor....
  13. a little relieved lol, but I detect a $5 August Special Margarita from Chilies is in order, then I'll put this thing back together later this afternoon...
  14. Inquisitiveness prompted me to retrieve my flashlight, which led to the garage for steel wool and an old toothbrush, with the hot water running and a 2 minute sink hose spray down.... however, somehow I'm compelled to investigate the heating elements further under the interior, even if it involves my reciprocating dewalt saw.... I've only used the water on the front door of my refrigerator, each morning, because it has a nice filtering device, so the inside was clean (kind of) as the spillway at the lake....
  15. 78 to 82 here - MOS7311 - USMC air wing - as for the coffee pot, it's from Walmart 2017 lol
  16. Howdy, Can you believe my Mr Coffee Pot thing after one year - Just putting a picture up showing the rust, I'm getting skeptical about using it, but it works fine, relative to making an easy couple of cup's....
  17. Observation - Smooth Flooring attached to the wall, although nice looking, may interfere with a future set of speakers, and echo's..... I have the same project going on in my loft upstairs - The previous owner had glued 1/8" thin cedar strips up there - been here 20 year's and I pulled it all off easily, with the plan to use barn wood - but - it's expensive - therefore, just waiting and watching for the trends to change and the price drop's to follow....
  18. PM sent, yes, that's what I'm talking about... Thanks... wasn't sure about having my cell number floating around.... I'd post a picture of my K-Horn here, but it's been up recently, however, Walnut behind Primaverde (SP) doesn't get a decorators certificate plaque - it just works.
  19. Key's are in my pocket, got gas yesterday, tarp under the seat with my bungie cord holder - willin' to bring beer if Dos Equis works, I've cleaned out my garage before, about 15 years ago and it lasted about 2 weeks, had a 49 chevy and a 49 nash at the same time - and none of my kid's wanted to have either as a first car... I'm wondering how to pm, on here, or do something, in place of the round W indicator, nevertheless, In all regular typewriter fashion, if the false corner is still sitting there in the garage, hollar'...
  20. Hi - I'm off this afternoon, in Garland, with a regular chevy pickup, and it'd be a pleasure to place these behind my 1954 Klipschorn mono.
