  1. In my opionin the difference between Heritage and Reference is not about bass responce or how deep they dig, but instead where do you want your midrange to live. In Heritage the midrange horn kick in 400 Hz in the Khorn and LaScalla. 700 Hz in the Heresy and new Cornwall. In the reference line the midrange horn kicks in the 2000 Hz range forcing a lot of your midrange to your woofers. This makes the Heritage midrange a lot more pronounced and cleaner IMO. JM
  2. NOZ, Its been a while. I am concerned about having dual speakers stacked. Especially in the midrange. Having two drivers doing the same thing can cause comb filtering since both drivers may not react exactly the same. Say one is slighly stiffer and reacts slower, or say your crossovers are off a tad. Looks like your opening is big enough for more options if needed. Wecome back. Maybe we could go cause hell over at the AVS forums again [] Good times..... JM
  3. I saw an interview with a fellow Dr at fort hood. Sounds like the shooter had as many as 500 patients. The Army does not have a support system for the Dr's. That is a lot of horific stories to hear and a lot of people to be strong for with no outlet. So sad. [] JM
  4. I have not ordered it yet. Still undecided if I am going to get it. Maybe on the 360. I definetly will not be getting the PC version since they really buggered up multiplayer for us : ( JM
  5. Sorry to hear about your travel problems Larry. I have money sitting in the unclaimed trust fund because I can no longer prove I lived somewhere 25+ years ago. I'm sorry but more of Government in anything makes it more complicated. And people think Government can run healthcare. Ya right.... JM
  6. Yep. Were definetly heading into Home Theater season. JM
  7. I've had my furnace on for two weeks now. No snow yet down here in our corner of WI. JM
  8. Paul David Hewson.... or better known as Bono. Here are a few pics from behind the scenes.
  9. I'll defifnetly try to make it. The sooner the date is picked, the better the chances as the calender really fills up in June. JM
  10. I have PDH as a friend on facebook. He has some really cool 360 tour pics in his photo albums. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=28997&id=1388541555 JM
  11. I sent in my Lexicon MC-1 to Shawn Fogg so he could install his 8 chanel bypass for me. Here is a URL to his web site. http://www.switch-box.com/Lexicon_analog_bypass.html In this economy I could not see upgrading my processor just so I could input HDMI. My Lexicon is still rock solid. All my audio connections are coax or toslink so having him steal a bunch to facilitate the 8 channel input makes a lot of sense. Just thought I would share just in case any of you are in the same dilema. JM
  12. Our company had offices on floors 17 to 31 in building 1 and a basement floor in building 2. I lost 11 co workers that day. Sor far, Two more have had there lives cut short due to injuries received that day. I will never ever forget that horific day. JM
  13. I've done it on the simulator. Never in real life. I probably have about $2500 invested in this YAK 54 Both wings are bolted on really tight. JM
