    Interesting day in the B1G.  Maryland beats Penn State handily, IU dumps blue and it's bye-bye Harb's who's 1-2 now.  First time in 33 years and they're playing well.  Not sure about Sparty or any of the others.  @DizRotus?  Gonna get even crazier w/covid.

    @MicroMara have you ever dealt w/CODA records in the UK?  Limited edition of AC/DC on 12" w/all Bon Scott's stuff on em...  I'm thinkin about it.  Also might be a heads up if anyone else is interested.  Dunno!  codarecords.co.uk I thin

    Yup, it's out there.  The neighbor who lives in Sherwood Forest across the street tested positive according to what his wife  told a neighbor the other day.  He was over mulching the leaves up w/his lil John Deere w/the cans on the back.  Perfect timing for him although I wouldn't wish that virus on anyone.  I think she knew better than to call me since I always get tons blowing into my yard from their place since with the wind blowing outta the west into my front yard.  Kid next door has two big oaks out back so I get his too!  Gotta love it this time of the year!  Stay safe out there brother!  :)

    Yup, getting into trouble again tonite me thinks.  Unzippin a few new ones just for giggles.  :) 

     

    "A nod is as good as a wink...  to a blind horse" Faces 3rd album released in 1971 along with their 2nd.  "Stay with Me" with Rod Stewart's vocals capped it all off pushing it to #6 in the US and #2 in the UK.  Reissued in 2015 and remastered.  MicroMara when you gonnna send me the original you borrowed long ago?  I KNOW you've still got it!!!  Well nm I got a replacement now!  :)

    John Petrucci's second prog album released in October 30th shows just what the former Dream Theater's lead guitarist is made of!   Amazing!  Toss in Michael Portnoy on drums and Dave LaRue on bass and BOOM it's jammin!  This thing COOKS!  Better grab this one!

    Zach, a few of my thoughts after perusing everything again.  Yea, we're watching you kid!   IF your CD list is in your Mom's or Dad's handwriting I'd frame them.  Save them cause we all know he's grinning big time right now.  That system better not go anywhere either cause we're allllll watching now!  hahaha  Klipsch posters?  Good luck!  Play nice in the sandbox w/friends and watch 'em grin.  That's half the fun of running Klipsch.  Blows them AWAY!   :)

     

    Just keep on truckin son!  Lyrics always seem to fit and resonate.  hahaha

    13 STOLEN Gibson Les Paul's

    Saw this last evening on the "Sweetwater" gear site and thought I'd share w/all you pickers!  Sweetwater is located in Ft Wayne, IN.  Who knows where they might end up!

     

    We are heartbroken to report that a pallet containing 13 Gibson Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom guitars in Silverburst was stolen at a Travel Center while en route to our campus. These guitars were the dream guitars of 13 avid Gibson and Adam Jones fans so we have decided to publish the serial numbers of the stolen guitars and are appealing to all music-makers to keep an eye out for them on popular resale websites.
    Fans should ask any third-party sellers for a serial number before purchasing. Anyone with information regarding the guitars should contact Detective Kenny Polley of the Whiteland Police Department at kpolley@whitelandpd.us or (317) 535-8100.

    Adjustments?  I've adjusted  my entire life AROUND my album collection.  I'm sure quite a few of us have but then we're ancient too.  My youngest daughter was clueless until she heard my system.  Then the next thing I knew she was taking pics of stuff and sending them to those she knew she drank with in college.  Perfect!  They loved it and I put in my alarm system.   Save the money and sometime when ya hit town find a record store.  Nothing's wrong w/buying used until you get old like me and become addicted to the new re-mastered stuff out there.  Vinyl is where it's at.

    Have a few to unzip so starting with this...  Tangerine Dream's "LiveMiles" a double album released in 1988 and a Record Store Day find w/only 2000 made world-wide.  Sweet album too!  1st lp was recorded live in Albuquerque and the 2nd in West Berlin.  Whisper quiet for a live album and sounds amazing!  Few more laying here but I'm keeping a close eye on the election results!  They're not gonna get over on me!  😂

    Not only a great movie but the soundtrack is pretty darn good too.  Just happen to have one!  lol  

     

    That's the down-side of Goodwill and their records especially now w/the boom in vinyl.  I swear the one 20 miles from me has some used record store picking thru them first.  Mainly junk but I have found some darn nice big band LP's that sound great even in mono.  The dollar boxes full at auctions 5 years ago are now bringing 50-75 around here.  Just nuts!  You'll sort it out I'm sure!  :)

    Youngest sent me a txt message last night and informed me.  Hahaha  She doesn't drink OR smoke pot.  Told her I was packing today and would be there by Saturday.  I got a "hehehehe" back.  One way to get out of Sherwood Forest.  These leaves falling from the neighbors trees is killin me.

    Good sources to purchase vinyl online?

    Google indie record stores in your area.  Many will ship free if you spend over $50 and that's easy to do today.  The guys I use are brothers and good peeps trying to make a buck.  Can search their store on line for whatever you want in store and they send me a weekly email w/new releases on it.  Order it and give your gold card info.  Mine are packaged well too.  I'm sure there's someone in your area.  Also eyeball Goodwill but check what you're getting first.  Have found some like new stuff in one that's fairly close to me.
