My buddies son needed a ride to work every morning for 3 days one week while he was out of town so I volunteered. EVERY morning @ zero dark thirty we HAD to stop so he could get his Red Bull. I got coffee and he got a can of that slop. Yup, one small sip was ALL it took. He laffed at me and he still drinks it every day. Then ya got those ppl who have to hit it w/some Goldschlager cinnamon schnapps. Seriously? Bad enough going down I can't imagine how wonderful it would be coming back up! Umm, NO! 😎

Justin's early 30's and has been playing forever. Both he and his wife are great people living in Nashville now and pursuing his career working with the likes of John Cash, Bootsy Collins and many others. Cranked out a couple GREAT albums in Johnny's cabin studio. He rep's for manufactures of guitar related equipment and just lives the life. Four or five albums, which are quite good imo, as well as soundtracks for TV advertisements, etc. He can play just about anything you hand him. Check him out on youtube!

Front came thru last evening from Canada and brought some heavy rain and lightning. Needed the rain but when the lightning hit somewhere close and blacked me out for 30 seconds I was a bit worried. Back up to normal with a great night sleeping 67 here at 8AM so I'm lovin it! Ha! Next couple days are supposed to be nice then goin back up again late in the week. Can I get a witness?

Martha Davis of the Motels took the lead in "The Monkey Time" which is great lil change-up from Curtis Mayfield's version.! The original LP first release shows the embossed "eye chart" in the right corner. Eventually it was "inked" to help it stand out. These guys were great live and ya never knew what was going to happen but they stayed in-line for the most part. lol With Todd Rundgren hangin around they almost had to. lolol Sounds fantastic!

Here we go! Slipped out to jam nite w/my buddies last night who are getting it together for a three-nite gig at one of the local beer gardens during our Bratwurst Festival in August. Ran the entire playlist last night and were spot on with everything. Bass man was a former stand in with Bad Company so I talked the guys into cuttin him loose for a lil trial run. He nailed it and those there went crazy, which is a good thing. Ya don't let a bass man just thumpity thump imo. So I told him when they were done he had a lot of room for improvement if he wanted that solo to stay in the playlist. hahahaha He said you want it you got it so I'm lookin forward to hearing him. Should be nails knowing him. l'm still chuckling just as they are at me! lol I've known these guys since we were all kids. They didn't laff too hard. Worked though.
