  1. No such thing. Unless you talk to my wife.
  2. I wonder if all four have sequential serial numbers...? For posterity ($1,500 asking price):
  3. Your pictures aren't coming in. If you want an easy way to host them and use on forums like this, try the technique below in my signature. The cheapest I have seen are the 5.1 to 7.1 surround amps that litter the shelves at Salvation Army, Goodwill, and local thrift stores. Around 9 months ago, I picked up an Onkyo 7.1 amp at a Salvation Army. This is important because this amp has multiple optical inputs, and also 5 way connectors for pre-outs on each channel. I went from my PCIE SoundBlaster via optical, and use most of the amplified channel outputs. The only exceptions to that are the pre-outs for the rear channels and subwoofer, because the sub has a built in amp, and I am using mono 100W RMS amps for the rear. The amp cost me $28 in perfect shape. Good deals are out there to be found. Most people seem to ignore these surround amps in the stores, for some reason. Thus they can be had inexpensively. I have 6 surround amps from the same stores, one each in the master bedroom, guest room, main home theater area, the swimming pool enclosure, and in my office. The sixth is a spare in case of any issues.
  4. That's a really nice offer, Carl. I really appreciate it!
  5. Actually I am using speaker wire, along with adapters to take the positive and negative wires and making a single RCA connector. It's 16 gauge copper stranded wire, and the adapters allow you to make RCA cables for any length you need. The end that connects into the pre-outs on the Onkyo 7.1 have banana connectors, and the other end uses the RCA connector. Once I put the ground loop "isolator" plugged into the amp, and the RCA from the receiver into the input side, the faint hum went away. The sound is crystal clear now.
  6. Thanks, Carl. I am having fun with them! I had a bit of ground loop buzz going on after a while using them, so I added this between the RCA line out feed and the amp, and the buzz went away:
  7. I dropped in here to give the same advice. Leaving satisfied.
  8. Good lord, were you on stage with Ann and Nancy???
  9. I really don't think it is worth 2+ hours in the car, and then $30 on top of that. Nice thought, though. If I am going to get another sub it will be a definite upgrade, and the SW8 II will be relegated to the master bedroom system. I'm looking for something in the 12" to 15" range. I might just buy a 15" subwoofer driver, and put it in the second KP-1000 cab. I have plenty of these organ amplifiers, so I will set it up with a dedicated amp, which is pushing a true 100w RMS.
  10. Nice job! The seller is asking $50 for it, so I think I shall pass. I already have an 8" sub that works well.
  11. Caught these incredible ladies on NPR. Harmonies tighter than any other group I've heard. Just fantastic. "I'm with Her". https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK0WrqKJLKw_SR_bczYXZSQ
  12. They are SOLID little amps! The KP-3002's really like the power, so I will be putting a dedicated amp on each one in the near future. To test them, I used a 3.5mm to dual RCA cable to use an iPhone as a pre-amp. They worked perfectly this way, so I knew I could use the Onkyo surround pre-outs to feed these amps.
  13. A while back, I picked up a pair of empty KP-1000 boxes from @carlthess40, along with 5 100w RMS organ amps to play around with. At first, I looked for original crossovers without success. I then made the decision to make these into a two way, and picked out a reasonably inexpensive 15" woofer to put back in the boxes. Since I was really happy with the Eminence woofers that I put into the Super Heresy build, I went the same way here: https://www.parts-express.com/eminence-delta-15a-15-driver-8-ohm--290-418 I found a pair of KG 5.5 crossovers for $35 on eBay that crossed near the frequency that I wanted. They work really well with the Eminence woofer and the k-57-k on a 601 horn. Thanks to @jimjimbo for the drivers and horns at such a low price! I thought about the amps for a while, and realized that they were built to amplify the full range of the organs they were put into, so they should work just fine for the bass - mid bass - squawker region. I put some favorite music on, and moved the gain just enough to match the rest of the system (KP-3002 front left and right, Super Heresy on surround L-R). As far as tweeters go, I don't worry about 10khz and up due to my tinnitus. So this two-way is just right for me. I think I will pole mount the horn once I can find some of three screw cups that came on these originally. I know this is a weird setup, but it's been a lot of fun to play around with. Now I just need to find something suitable for the center channel.
  14. And if you do know, what would be a good used price on it? Thank you in advance!
  15. Heresies normally go here from $300 to $450ish (for a perfect set) on Version 1's. Heresy V2's aren't that much more. I recently picked up a pair of 1977 Heresy 1, 'E' export models with laser tags in perfect shape for $380, just to give you an example. I seriously doubt that you will get anywhere near your purchase price on this site. It sounds like the only option is for you to put them back on eBay. I hope you kept the boxes that were used to ship them. People here won't want to insult you by offering what is a realistic price in this neighborhood.
  16. Not mine, obviously! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Meyer-Sound-SB-3F-Long-Throw-Loudspeaker-System-4600W-RMS-Excellent-Shape/123601450061?hash=item1cc738744d:g:RPIAAOSws~dcQjih
  17. ...”T” stand for in KPT? I’ve got the Klipsch Professional part, but no idea on the T. *<;o)
  18. You would probably get your asking price on eBay. A lot people here have already done a Super Heresy project or two, and have spares of these woofers laying around. I know I have two of them under the workbench. That includes @jimjimbo below, who responded at the same time I did.
  19. Looks like 15" woofers, possibly. Great price for someone local. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carvin-Speaker-083806/323838839257?hash=item4b664c89d9:g:GD0AAOSwU2tc8AJT https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carvin-Speaker-083878/323838839251?hash=item4b664c89d3:g:VqAAAOSwFdNc8AI9
  20. Lately I have changed to a different browser tab to google something I just read, and forget what is was before google finishes loading.
  21. Take a peek at Bryston amps. I was impressed. They have a 20 year, no questions asked warranty. http://bryston.com/products/power_amps/6BSST-2-PRO.html @veloceleste both of yours are great choices...
