  1. more bass for sure. I switched because I use rb-75's as mains. The C-7 is a very good center.
  2. Thanks for the replies. The amp uses 8 power tubes so the cost is a factor. I will try out the jj/tesla and Telefunken. The tubes I have came with the amp when I bought it. It will be a nice change I think. Thanks, Joel
  3. I currently use svetlana 6l6's (8pcs)in a ear 834 integrated amp. It's time to do some tube rolling. I am looking for opinions on what brand and tube might sound the best. The amp will accept the three types of tubes. I listen to mainly classic rock, vintage blues, and small combo jazz thru a pair of cornwall II's. Also It uses 1 pair of ecc83's and 1 pair of ecc85's ant suggestions of these would be welcome. Thanks, Joel
  4. I have replaced the klf with an rc-7.So time to sell the klf. Its black in great condition. I have the box and manual. 250.00 plus shipping. PM me if intrested. Thanks, Joel
  5. the rb-35s are nice. The rb-5IIs are better. The rb-75 are better yet. All fine speakers.
  6. I have rb-75s and rb-35s .I paid 500.00 for the pair of 35s and 940.00 for the 75s. If I had to do it over I would have 2 pair of 75s. A much better preformer than the 35s and well worth the money. Not as many room problems with these as with my cornwalls.
  7. fini Yes what ever religon you are or are not is perfect. The only requirement is a desire to stop drinking. You don't have to change anything but if you stick with it everything will change. It takes an outstanding amount of effort to drink every day. Lots of meetings in your area.
  8. 13 feet apart. the sweet spot would be 6 feet away. The room may be a problem. I am sure you will get plenty of feed back on this.
  9. I saw an empty cabinet when I visited klipsch. They are not small at all. I think the woffers are 10's or 12's they are as large or larger than RF-7's. Pretty as well. The plastic offers some abvantages so It would not discourage me.
  10. I am sure they will look and sound awsome. As for the price. With Klipsch you get what you pay for. Not true with some companies. If they preform as good as cornwalls or better I am sure to buy a pair of front mains. I for one am happy to see a horn in the mid range. They should be killer.
  11. no bids on these yet. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=61378&item=5718079564&rd=1
  12. Art D's living room is of good size for k-horns. I am not sure about corners though. I would love to see a review. I have seen the Klipsch name in sterophile a lot more often in a positive way. Whats to worry about? They don't give BAD reviews any way. Klipsch makes very little money in sales of K-horns so its low risk right? If anything Sterophile will get flooded with mail if they give a luke warm review. They may be holding out for the klipsch Premier line . I do not have the corners for K-horns and am just waiting for them to come out.
  13. looks like tannoy for speakers?
  14. Yes I have had it on vinyl for a while . Great record
  15. Thats to bad. A reissue of Cornwalls with new drivers and updated crossovers would be sweet. I guess I will have to wait for the klipsch premier to come out.

  17. Why not go with the Aragon stuff. It sounds very good in all respects.
  18. Between paypal and the the stands these would more than likely need .It may be a bit of a stretch for me anyway.
  19. The drivers look to have been replaced with alanco drivers k55v. They did not come this way in 91.
