  1. Hay could you let me know when you refine your mod also .I am intersted
  2. Thanks for the reply. Mabey he will chime in .I am not but 4 or 5 hours from him I would save on shipping as well. I would be open for suggestions on any mods that he would have in mind. I would do this and save for something new.
  3. I was just wondering if anyone knows or has an opinion on the upgrade they offer on audiogon for the Jolida 302b. I just cant afford a new amp or least any thing I would want for that kind of money (650). Do you think it is worth it? Is there any other mods worth considering?
  4. It is rough out there sometimes. I feel for ya . No one to share your passion for a fine system. On your birthday no less they could of been more receptive or at least pretended to care or enjoy it. Its hard if your not into audio because you just hear "it sounds good" ya just can not expect much more I guess. On my birth day or around the holidays I get a little more sensitive for some reason. The feeling will pass and you will be feeling fine soon. Hay I am feelin blue to my GF of about 4 years decided to split yesterday. When asked why "I am just unhappy and don't know why" not much I can do about "I don't know why" So it could be worse for you as well as for me . Better days around the corner. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! Joel
  5. They should of just filled the hole with cement and called it a day.
  6. It will be the largest pair of headphones ever. There is no doubt you will regret it if you do not do it. Go for it you will learn to live with any compromise or find a solution. You only live once and you are bound to make more grave mistakes than getting a pair of k-horns. GO FOR IT.
  7. Has any seen the rosewood k-horns on e-bay lots of $$$ but WOW very fine.
  8. Yes but what would I do with 2 C-7's and 1 klf-20?
  9. Now that would just be silly.
  10. Minnesota mmm not to far you know.
  11. Yea that was me They had lots of calls on them and I thought if I did not take them then I would have lost out. I walked in on the off chance they would have something new. My luck they did. Ken was on the phone when I walked in with someone who was asking about them I wonder if that was you .I did not see your post though. Sorry you did not get them. But I am happy with them.
  12. Hear is a link http://www.ossaudio.com/
  13. Does any one know any thing about these amps ? Any good ? I am think of a future upgrade to use with my CWII's .
  14. Thanks The Jolid is quite nice for the $ I put out for it. Ever seince I got a turntable I dont watch many movies. I was thinking about selling the center and geting something that will match the RB-35's and geting mabey some RB-75's in front. Just use the cornwalls for 2 channel. Space is limited hear. O-well I am not to concerned. After so many speakers thruogh hear the GF is use to it now and just shakes her head and just dosent fight any more.
  15. What a mess I will have to clean up the wires today. I think 500.00 may be to much for klf-10's. If you can get the cornwalls for 500.00 ****** them up. Or buy my 20's for a fair price.
  16. Funny thing They are cw-br with mitered corners the front has veneer the may of came this way and he just put the finish on. They also have regular cw tags.
  17. I found them at a local hi-fi joint and the word had got out that they had 1 pair. When I walked in the sales guy was on the phone talking to some one about them. They had only been there a few days so I had to act fast. I paid 739.00 plus tax. 800.00 out the door delivered to my house. This was a god deal. They are cornwall 2's a 1987 model in very nice condition. However they are cw-br that the previous owner had finished in birch veneer with a lite stain. He did an fine job though. I had 2 other pairs at one time that I had pulled out of someones garage but the cabinets were shot so I sold them for parts I got about 725.00 for each pair for just parts. I missed the cornwalls so when I saw them there I just wrote a check. My old lady just put heer hand on her head and said MORE SPEAKERs I am short on cash now though but it will be fine my holiday shoping is done. WOW to much coffee got to run.

  19. I just picked up a pair of cornwall II and an selling my klf-20 in med oak for 500.00 if you are intrested you dont live to far from me. They will go on ebay on sunday night. I have the orignal boxes and manuals. they are in very good condition.
  20. I use a jolida with klf-20 for music. It is much better sounding than my av reciver. I think the jolida with my rb-35's is an better match though very smooth. I also used the jolida with cornwalls for a while it sounded good as well. A used jolida can be found for around 500.00 or less. Any tubes will be a step in the right direction. Good Luck
  21. I just came across this and thought someone may be intrested. Lots of vinyl and cd imports to be found hear. http://www.musicselection.com
  22. This may not the best of all time but sounded fantastis and would be perfect for a very small apartment.
  23. Yea Ace is great. Mabey it is because Jerry and most of the GD played on the album as well. I have workingmans dead on DVD audio it sounds far better than the red book cd. I have just about all the studio work on vinyl and a good bit on cd. GD live is the best. Enjoy the hdcd it is a bit better than the standard. To me I like Vinyl the best it just sounds better.
