  1. Pick Did you build the frame for the shirt? I have a Cam Neely and a bourque game worn jersey I would like to frame. What are you doing with yourself without a hockey season?
  2. I purchased brand X because of not being able to have hang with the rich folks of the forum.

If conversation starts about another brand the thead is locked by a very Pro-SVS moderator. If something not too complimentary is said about SVS then the thread is deleated, but only after the critics manhood is questioned online by one moderator and another posts personal attacks and sends hate mail PMs. I know this to be true because it has happened to me, and is a large reason I rarely go there anymore. Why does this happen?...easy, SVS is ONE of the sponsors of that site. Well, gentlemen, here Klipsch is the ONE and ONLY sponsor of this site, and I for one believe they deserve the respect of not having this site turn into free advertising for another brand! I do believe in freedom of speech, but when things get as out of balance as they have here SOMEBODY needs to bring it back into balance. ---------------- Can you provide an example, another member nightrain on avs forum said the same thing...
  5. I guess I won't post my opinions here on the Rocket 750's arriving on Wednesday.
  6. $600 good luck....they it was tough dumping them off at $450
  7. As an SvS owner, I used to think stop your damn whining its a forum. But I can't imagine how tough it is for a company to host a site and provide free advertisement for another company. Klipsch has been very patient and forgiving on this matter. I wonder how much an RSW15 would cost if Klipsch sold it direct adn cut out the price gouging brick and motars
  8. I was in a very boring meeting when I read that post. It was very difficult to control my laughter
  9. Your RF7s came to life because the PB2U scared the sheet out of them
  10. Having had the (2) RF3, RC3, (4)RS7 set up I was pleased. then I went to the (2)RF7 RC7 and (4) RS7. I was happy, very happy. Then I went with (2)RF7, RC7 (2)RB75 surrounds and (2)RS7 rear. The last config is awesome for both movies and especially for music. Having the RS7s in the rear is fine but as surrounds I found teh wide dispersion was a little too wide and sounded like an extension of the fronts rather than its on discernable channel. I am for the RB75 as the surrounds and rs7 for the rear
  11. look over at hometheaterforum.com I believe it is ed nichols that did the review

I assume if you set the hi and low-pass at 80 Hz., there will be some internal overlap as so you would have a nice transition at 80Hz.? I assume you would set the hi-low pass at the same frequency and the internal X-over would make sure there was a nice transition. ---------------- Are you asking what setting on the subwoofer or in the receiver? When I set the system up with the SvS the cross overs in the receiver are set to 80 and the crossovers on the SvS are set to disable, which will pass whatever frequency is set to the amp. As a rule of thimb I set one or the other. Pioneer has a plus feature which allows for 20 to 20k to the fronts and 80 and below to the sub (best of both worlds)
  13. Damn good question At the beginning he states: The sound quality of the SVS CS-Ultra is really quite spectacular. I was presented with very powerful, deep, and magnificently clean sound effects as well as music. I used them as stereo subs, one in each front corner But then he states the graphs are for only 1 sub with the amp in stereo and the subs were in opposite corners. this leads me to believe both subs were powered BUT the mic was 1 meter from one of the subs Check over at hometheaterspot.com there is an SvS section over there.
  14. having had 2 PB2+ at one time the bass was overwhelming having 2 PCUs the bass is overwhelming if I run them even a little hot. My recommendation would be start off with one. you can always order a second one.
  15. to ask which one is better it depends on a lot of factors. If you connect a 20 watt wallie world special amp to the CS ultra well the results will vary. If you connect it to the K2 well you will achieve much different results. how is your room set up, how many cuft, what type of amp will you be using to power the SvS and so on. to come right out and say sunfire or SvS is better than the other without know the system and a little something about the room it is a matter of opinion. Could you share some of the info mentioned above, if you have ample room for a large sub, and budget.
  16. I would try to email techsupport@svsubwoofers.com again Did you have a sub before this one? Perhaps it could be a setting such as the sub set up is off or bass limiter is on. But yes it should rattle your windows. Does it thump when you turn it off and on?
  17. I have had the following configs 1 PC+ 2 PC+s 1 PB2+ 2 PB2+s 2 PC Ultras though the dual PB2+s had a more thunderous ability the Ultras are noticable different with a unique sound compared to the + versions. The difference is subtle but noticable, especialy in the string instruments. If I was to by another SVS I definitely would pay the wxtra cash for the ultra driver.
  18. I have mine on a ceiling mounted tv stand
  19. No doubt about it!!! Ron, Tom and crew are quite the company. congrats on the sub.
  20. I tried to hide a PC2039 from my fiance at the time. I was able to hide it for about 2 days in the HT. the only reason I was able to hide it for 2 days is because the HT is in the cellar and she had not gone down stairs. But once she had walked in to the HT she was able to see it poking its head up in the corner. There aint no hiding these babies. I had no real intention in hiding it for a length of time it was just a matter of me not telling her I purchased it and when she discovered it I would plead for forgiveness.
  21. I went tot he concert they released. It was VERY disppointing. It is too bad Lindsey was trying to act like Chuck Berry and Jimmy Hendrix. Without Christie the vocals were very shallow. My recommendation is do not buy.
  22. I think it really depends on the streams bandwidth. In general my 14 month experience has been in the last 6 months the quality has significantly increased and is very close to CD quality.
