  1. " I have Chorus 1's for mains - Academy center (which is about to be replaced with another Chorus) - and Heresy III's for rears - and Velodyne DD-18 sub. " You are going to love the third Chorus for a center, guaranteed.
  2. She reads over your shoulder? Ooops, better be careful what I write...............Does she know about the Girlfriend?????????.................. Ummm...yea now she does! Well it's always better to have the girlfriend's approved by the wife also . She just tends not to like my taste ! Still breathing.
  3. Not here, 91 deg today and high humidity.[]
  4. Hey glad to see you still breathing .[]
  5. " the wife always says, if you haven't used it in the last 2 years, you don't need it. " That sounds a little threatening, but two years is a long time ! Glad your posting, ........................now we can really harass you, just kidding .
  6. Why would you want to go out ,she is right. We never built a theater but for some reason I always had a problem trying to convince her on anything audio, it was just for me. Then something changed when I found Klipsch, now she likes it as much as I do. I don't know if it's the Klipsch sound or what it was, she always liked music just didn't care how it came to be. I don't know what happened but glad it did ! Much more fun now. And for all you people out there, bring your wife to a pilgrimage and try to get her to read some post if you can, both really helps.
  7. Michael those pictures are great, lighting like that must be hard to deal with. Indy after looking at the first pic of the stage area it's hard to tell how big it is, but after looking at the view from the stage with people in there it looks much bigger, looks very comfortable. You should be very happy it looks great. And to think you can visit there any time you want, always open.
  8. Congratulations Grandpa Pickey and happy birthday Mrs Verna.[]
  9. Actually never tried, had other preferences, but been with friends who did and that was enough, good god 4 , 8 that would scare the ship out of me.
  10. Cindy Lauper is different, seen her by accident, Went to go see Tina Turner about 8 years ago and Cindy was the opening act, didn't look to see if there was another act playing. There was something different about that Tina Turner concert. Not that I care but it was hard to not notice. With say 10 thousand people there they may have 200 men, and the rest were couples. It turned out to be a good show, and Tina does not look her age to say the least.
  11. Sorry about that Lost, didnt know if anyone seen them, good luck.
  12. There is a pair on ebay now. http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Vintage-Klipsch-Cornwall-CDB-15-Speakers-nr_W0QQitemZ220032503538QQihZ012QQcategoryZ61378QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. Quite a value over the long run.
  14. Kids will do it to you, I know what you mean about grey, at least it's still there though .
  15. Give everybody a chance to see the post, at that price somebody should want it ! Try posting in general questions.
  16. That looks great, love the colors, very neat . The sound must be unbelievable , Can't wait to hear Lascalas with those subs. The people that came to the party must have been shocked at the room and then the sound ! What did they have to say ? Just wondering because 95 % have never heard sound like that. Can't wait to see more pic's, Of course I knew it would look and sound great , wouldn't expect Indy to do it halfast now did you.
  17. Almost forgot, you do very nice work, it's easy to tell, not only nice finished product but you make it look easy, and it's not easy.
  18. There is a pair in Lawerence KS on ebay now , CDB ? http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Vintage-Klipsch-Cornwall-CDB-15-Speakers-nr_W0QQitemZ220032503538QQihZ012QQcategoryZ61378QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  19. I have been thinking the same thing, how much of a difference from the two originals ? Very nice review, it's hard to put the quality of music into words. I would have loved to write a good review when I got my CWlll's but I really didnt think it would have been really fair. I am " for now " useing my Yamaha reciever and I know I am Missing much quality for 2 ch compared to other rigs. I will in the future do better for 2 ch but to many other projects lined up for now.[] I don't know if it will be tubes or vintage amp or both, also I don't want to rush into any of it the CWlll's will be hear when it happens whenever it does. Oh don't get me wrong they sound great even with this HT receiver but I know I am missing out compared to what it could sound like , { thanks Hope Pilgrimage } . I really liked the way that integrated amp sounded in the Klipsch listening room, if it wasn't for other projects already started I would have jumped on one like that, came close though. Glad you like your new CW's smart choice, IMO.
  20. Would love to build one, to much $ to buy, wish list to long already.
  21. And it's safe to let the secretary sit on your lap !
  22. Well to tell the truth my wife does it , smoked up the house one day. I would tend to get distracted at the wrong time and burn it. There is a fine line between good and burned taste, and I tend to try to brown a little to much and it can get nasty real quick. IB, I don't know about the Jap thing but Coonass is a good thing to me. Now a Coonneck is not so good, Coonass / Redneck, I don't know where Hillbilly fits in, I would bet closer to Redneck but eats anything like a Coonass. Did I cover them all, not really but close enough to get in trouble. One more just to push my luck. Yankee , still trying to figure them out ? No really is the term Yankee considered a bad thing ?
  23. That gumbo looks good ! I think I will agree with Customsteve " Yes Piney, beer and whiskey are a part of it but they usually don't go in the pot they go in the consumer of the bugs and crab " Do they really put that in the pot, never heard of that ? And I have heard of some strange things being added to the pot.
