  1. Hi all, looking for a pair of the KLF-20 woofers; model K-1036-K. Let me know if you have a pair you'd be willing to part with. I'm located in the Minneapolis area. Thanks!
  2. I have a pair of slightly mismatched (see pictures) Klipsch Legend KLF-20 speakers. Sound great, cabinets in decent shape with a few dings and scratches here and there. One of the cabinets was apparently resealed at the back before I got it; that can be seen in the picture showing the input terminals...the one on the left. Have been sitting unused for about two years, Will take 200 watts continuous undistorted RMS, with 800 watts peak. You can drive these until your ears bleed. Big and heavy, way too heavy to ship, so pick up in Los Angeles only, or I'm willing to drive no more than 60 or so miles to meet you somewhere. $400 for the pair because they're very slightly mismatched and because the cabinets can use a small amount of cosmetic work. But they sound really great. On eBay as 'blue11' for more than 20 years, more than 600 feedbacks, no negatives for the entire 20 years. Payment accepted through PayPal. Thanks for looking.
  3. Came across a set of 30's for the right price so I decided to attempt a ground up re- design in an attempt to finally squeeze from this speaker the bass it SHOULD be producing. Although I currently own a pair of KLF 20's and a pair of KLF 30's, I couldn't pass these up at the price point I STOLE them at. Planning to reinforce the cabinet to the tune of 1.5" mdf ( box-in-box) with all the proper dampening, insulation, bracing, etc. Cabinet re-tune, correct those useless ports, and in all likelihood will try a non-crites crossover custom built by Norman Cerveny Pro Audio. Will refinish the outer cabinet as well with unfinished wood veneer with many coats of Hi Gloss lacquer, haven't decided on a stain color yet. Although KLF 30 mods are fairly standard these days, Norm Cerveny will be doing these from start to finish since this will be more than a simple modification.
  4. I have a pair of KLF20s and a pair of KLF C-7s that I was going to use as double centers. But,, I could get my hands on a KLF10 as a center and put the C7s as direct surrounds on left and right rear. Would that work? What about a modified KLF10 with the tweeter in the center of the 2 woofers, andd then place it on its side? Yes this is an extension of my previous D'appolito center made from KG4 or Heresy parts. thanks
  5. Need a single K-52 driver and horn for KLF-30 rebuild. Came across a set of 30's for the right price so I decided to attempt a ground up re- design in an attempt to finally squeeze from this speaker the bass it SHOULD be producing. Although I currently own a pair of KLF 20's and a pair of KLF 30's (love these monsters) I would rather not pull a driver from either for this rebuild. Planning to reinforce cabinet to the tune of 1.5" mdf with all the proper dampening, insulation, bracing, etc. Cabinet re-tune, correct those useless ports, and in all likelihood will try a non-crites crossover custom built by Norman Cerveny Pro Audio. Will refinish the outer cabinet as well. Anyway one of these new old 30's as purchased contained a Selenium mid driver attached to a cracked horn. Certainly not complaining with regards to the Selenium squawker but I have a set of Ti's I would like use. Will trade the Selenium if necessary. Although a KLF 30 rebuild is fairly standard these days I am fairly anxious haven't done one in years.
  6. I recently bought a pair of KLF-20 and one speaker has broken the horn adapter which connect the horn to the driver of the mid. Does someone know where I can find one?
