Fizzlemizzle
I'm looking for a headphone amp (tube much prefered) between $50-300. I've found little dot MKs on ebay and seem pretty good. I'm using sennheiser hd595. Recomenadtions please!
Professor Thump
Rudisound makes a beautifull sounding tube amp for headphones but you will be paying several $k for that. You should consider the Ray Samuels if you want portibility.
Donald1800
I agree with "the Thump's" recommendation. I personally own the Ray Samual's "The Predator" amp and an Asus Dolby 'headphone' encoder/audio processor with my C3s, and I have never used a quieter, cleaner amp for headphones. J.4knee
anyone use the P51 Mustang?
Professor Thump
No but I don't think you can go wrong with any of Ray's designs.
dgoreck
I was about to build my own for a while. I was looking at the Millet Hybrid Max. Can build it for around $200 for what they where saying, and it is pretty top notch, yet has room for upgradability and get good reviews. http://www.diyforums.org/MAX/MAXoverview.php Might be worth a look if your up to the task.
