Bobby Beck
The owner says they were painted black then stripped, but they have handles on them. Do you all think they were industrials and have had the metal removed? Did they all have the metal around the edges? Or painted stripped and had handles added? It looks like the sticker was over the black paint to me. Take a look

Bobby Beck
wish I could say they were my legs, but I'm the other guy
greg928gts
Some La Scalas were ordered with handles even though they were not industrials. These were originally black paint from the factory, with handles, and someone has stripped some of the black paint off. They probably had K33 woofers in them originally. I always open the bass bins up to see what's in there for woofers before buying LS's. The woofers are often not original. Greg
Moderators dtel Posted December 5, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 5, 2009 If that is the price there asking on the price tag keep walking. []
djk
The veneer is totally trashed. The caps in the network are leaking. This set isn't worth much, even if they are working.
JohnA
Pretty ugly. I'd give no more than $500 for the pair.
99PanozAIV
I think that's a bit steep for that condition. I recently bought a pair of Klipschorns with better cabinets, delivered to my door, for $1,500 (gotta love Craigslist)
