Rich_Guy
This video was made by an old friend I use to work with, Mark Herbert. We worked together in the high performance VW industry.

Islander
That car looks like it would work out well for drifting.
CIGARBUM
That thing sounds more Porsch than VW, with a very good rev-limiter cb
Rich_Guy
It's VW powered. Here are some more VW's at the drag strip note all the dragsters are VW powered. The best one is at the end.
Groomlakearea51
I remember going to a NHRA strip near Salinas back in 1978 and some of the most fascinating cars were the VW 's. Amazing what could be tweaked out of what started as a 40hp motor!
winchester21
There is a silver 08 Porsche Cayman runing around Charlotte with a fully modified 3.8 race engine producing close to 500 hp. The car looks stock except for the 3 point harness seat belts . The thing sounds ridiculious but not extremely loud like open headers. Custom exhaust system- Ceramic brakes- total suspension rework- The owner indicated that the car would crack the 3 second 0-60 mark. What a beast. With the Porsche/VW merger look for some serious performance VWs
