sjc93
Ok so I have two big kilpsch speakers in my living room. Pictures: LIVING ROOM SPEAKERS FRONT SPEAKERS BACK BRAND We also have a big box TV (50" or so) that we plan on replacing later this year with a big LCD TV. It would be nice to hook up the TV to the speakers. The TV is hooked up to a DVR cable box and a DVD player. I would also like to play music through the speakers maybe via DVD or any suggestions you have on hooking up my mp3 device to them. I have blank DVDs and auxiliary cables. What do I need to hook it up to meet the specifications above? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
wuzzzer
You'll need a receiver or integrated amplifier.
Arky
Those speakers are considered small around here, nice floor btw. Buy a receiver; easier if it has HDMI connections. Buy proper cables; try monoprice.com. Connect all electronics to the back of the receiver using the proper cables. Connect speaker wire to receiver. Your new tv will have hdmi. jtnfoley
Try uploading your pictures to tinypic.com with a resize option... You want to resize to 800x600 or 640x480 to fit reasonably well here. Then paste the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" URLs here. Groomlakearea51
A high powered would be nice, but if cost is a consideration, they only require a modest amp because they have a high sensitivity (SPL). A modest ~75 - ~100 WPC amp will also do the job quite well for you.
wuzzzer
So the original thread was posted almost 2 weeks ago with no response from the original poster. I see that happen all the time. Someone comes on and asks a question, gets several thorough answers and you never hear from them again. [:^)]
