merkin Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I did the 60's Time life CD's. I felt the sound quality was OK. They were taking them from old masters I believe. Is it worth a darn? Time Life Singers and Song Writers I own many Time Life CDs and find the recording quality inconsistent. That said, the Singers and Songwriters CDs which I own ('74-75, '76-77, '78-79) are fairly decent; Some of their other stuff is positively awful- brutally compressed and bright.
