KlipschKG4life
Hows it going everyone.. I'm new to the Klipsch community and just wanted to introduce myself. I could'nt find a place for introductions, announcements wouldnt let me, so I posting here. I am a recent first time owner of Klipsch but not necessarily new to Klipsch speakers. My father, when I was a kid, was somewhat of an audiophile and always swore by Klipsch. I still remember his Cornwalls that he had and how I could here them two blocks away as a kid. lol. They are the only brand of speakers that have ever stuck in my head. Even as a kid I was impressed by the clarity and punch they had. Anyway, I've played guitar my whole life and have a good ear and nothing beats quality vintage equipment IMO. Well I'm 30 now and really wanted to get into Vinyl. I figured I'd ask my father if he still ahd that nice looking Tuntable. Turned out he did and it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful and mint JVC QL-A75 and put a brand new Empire 600LAC cartridge in it which my father never used. One of the most underated TT's around. He also gave me his Vintage Onkyo A-7 amp, which is a beast and also mint. Nice of him because hes not rich or anything like that. So I needed Speakers. I searched around and started to fall in love with the Klipsch KG-4. So I waited for the right deal, and picked a pair of practically mint set in walnut up for $275 with shipping on Ebay. Once I got the placement right, wow. Thats all I can say. Amazing speakers.Clarity, midrange, and pack an amazing punch in the bass. They match up perfectly with my set up and I will put it up agaisnt anything in the $2000-$2500 range. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say I will be around here for a long time. I will never go with anything but Klipsch.

HudsonValleyNoah
Glad to have you here! There is something about the kg4 that I have always liked. Oh, I know what it is; it's the smallest Klipsch speaker that has enough Klipsch sound to make me happy. (The kg2 is almost as good, but not quite enough for me.) Enjoy your kg4's and visit all the forum areas, read a lot and soon you will know all that you need to know (to want to buy MORE Klipsch speakers.) Like the MC says, "Welcome to the madness" ... Also have met some of the best people I know right here.
