ClaudeJ1
But the Absolute cream on top of the Strawberries was this Studer/Revox used the same super high precision motors. Built like a tank and a real thing of beauty, this piece of machinery. Don't forget to clean the heads first. LOL.

Panacea Engineering
Mark, We are waiting on the Brackets and the DX-38 to arrive........and YES, I have been fighting the urge to listen to them through the passives.....! Again, I am not too comfortable with the "Stick" that I have supporting the TAD driver, at the moment.... W. C.
mark1101
You have passives and haven't played them yet? You must be able to find something around there to support them. So when do you think you'll get the rest of the stuff?
Coytee
I think the Dx went out last week from Indianapolis.

Panacea Engineering
We will have to cut a piece of plywood to mount the bracket and K 402 to. When I ordered this I thought it was the complete assembly, but Nooooooooooooooo.......This is all the parts guy and I could come up with at the time. They are reworking their Inventory system and some of the SKU numbers were "Absent"....For lack of a better term. If anyone has a picture of what the piece of plywood looks, it would be greatly appreciated. It should mount to the two (rather large) Phillips screws, that are on top of the access panel. You can actually see the screws in this picture. they are on the left right behind the bottom horn flange.
ZombieWoof
I've been following this thread from the start , learned a bunch Thanx for all the great info ...... If it's not one thing it's another thing, Huh ? Seems when you get the best toys the parts needed always have a twist to getting them right .. .... They go through the slots on the tray. I have never used mine, it allows me to turn the horn or remove it at will 2. No guffaw about the dust...or no more naked pictures! Coytee
I went to the hardware store and bought some LARGE felt pads to stick on the underside of the K402 tray. I think it had some small felt 'dots' on it but I wanted larger ones since I slide it around every now & then.
Panacea Engineering
I have to mention the DUST.....as I have a great amount of it also....I just try to wipe things down before I take pictures.......Richard...I appreciate your total honesty......![6]
Panacea Engineering
The base plates are complete and here are a few pictures..........
Panacea Engineering
The above was a trial fit. I made an Arc Slot for the rear screw which will allow me to turn the horn 60 degrees right or left......
Panacea Engineering
Another shot.......All we have left to do is cut the gaskets and install the Horn/Driver
Panacea Engineering
This last shot is to let you know that I have to deal with outside noise...also. If you look through the "Broken" window (there is a whole "nother" story attached to this and the cracks are on the outside payne), you will see Rail Road Tracks. My building is 25 feet of of Norfolk Southern's Main Freight Line that runs from Florida to Masine. The concrete slab in the sound room is three feet thick (added concrete blocks [waste from the Concrete Plant acreoss the street[) and the freight trains that come by still shake the Hell out of the building.........
