boa12 Posted June 6, 2002 Share Posted June 6, 2002 you can have too much competing bass from different speakers/subs that lowers bass quality, or too much bass, w/ certain material playing like music, that overwhelms the higher freqs. but if all speaks/subs blended well w/ the room & your ears, the only too much bass is that which causes structural damage to one's dwelling or person. this assumes bass peaks at appropriate times, such as the LFE channel in movies. jmo ------------------ My Home Systems Page Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
