Which dipole surrounds for Heritage line??

As far as I know the RS speakers are bipole not dipole and my experience (RS3 with Fortes) says that they are not a good match for Heritage speakers. Why would you want a dipole speaker? They have really not been the way to go since the prologic days. As for a match for Khorns I can enthusiastically recommend the pro cinema Klipsch line. I have KPT 12VBs. They are more than enough to keep up with my Klipschorns and match well tonally. Surprisingly they are also about the same price as RS 62s.

If you want to Timbre match your K horns, you going to need to stay in the Heritage line which do not have a di pole surround.

I have 4 Heresy's mounted to the ceiling for my sides and rears. The high mounts over your head help with the surround sound sensation, while the Mono Pole Heresy are dead on when multi channel music pans to your surounds.

Want a dipole design can I use for Klipschorn mains...

Recommend looking at these if you are looking for bipole surrounds that would integrate with Khorns:

http://www.klipsch.com/kpt-8-vb

http://www.klipsch.com/kpt-12-vb

Contact roy.delgado@klipsch.com for more information. The price may be right, too.

I would love to have a pair of either, I could use them for rears to match the 402mwm for mains.

As I said they work great with Khorns. The most bang for the buck I have ever got with speakers. Just think how many RS surounds it would take to equal the output the 12VBs are capable of.

When I read your post I didn't realize what the 12VB's were, I had seen them but did not know the name. Are you using 2 for rears in a 5.1 ? Nice design

I am using 12VBs as side surrounds and KPT1201s for rears in a 7.2 setup with Khorn mains, Lascala center, and Danley subs.

First Class [Y] Very nice HT, enough to scare unsuspecting listeners for sure.

I made a pair of Gothover's Drifts but with a 15 degree downward angle. To be truthful I haven't been able to get them wired up to the surround system. But have had the chance to listen to as a 2 channel setup and they do sound nice. Once I get my whole theater done, the last thing is get every thing veneered. I will say the one thing I wish I did different was angle the baffles instead of the back. Sorry for the small pic, its all I have for now. They ran me just around 700 for the pair to build.
