ACM
Hello All, I recently picked up a Harman Kardon HK730 to be used in my 2nd system, so I've been thinking about moving my HK430 that previously powered my 2nd system to my main system. Main system uses a TT as the only source, ran through a Scott 299C to a pair of Cornscalas. I'd like to incorporate the 430 to make use of the tuner and to compare and contrast the two for my own amusement. So, how would you guys make this setup work? Ideally, this will use a switch rather than a lot of disconnecting and connecting if possible. Any ideas?

You don't know how many times on this forum and other forums I have seen this question arise and I send the poster to the Niles. Maybe one day I will have to try it out.[Y] Bill

USNRET
I use these but in reverse: 12v wall wart controls it and the 12vdc out runs a PC cooling fan to create airflow over the VRDs.
oldmako
Thumbs up on the Niles SPK-1. I'm running two now with one on the shelf for standby. I picked up two on CL for 20 bucks!
Dr Morbius
So let us know which amp (HK or Scott) you prefer with your Cornscala's. FYI I also have a 299C and Cornscala's.
captmobley
I've been using a Niles DSP-1 for several years with no complaints. I use my Klipschorns as fronts for my home theatre and mains for my 2 channel system. Emotiva LPA-7 for home theatre and custom 45 tube monoblocks for 2 channel. Best of both worlds!
